Sonic: The Roleplay (For lack of a better name)
Well, I was bored. Basically, create your own character. NO CANON CHARACTERS. Any species you want, considering they have a wide variety in the series.
Story: Dr. Robotnik (screw eggman) is evil. He creates a robotic replica of Angel Island. He uses it as a base for his evil schemes. Many species from all over Mobius (Sonic's home planet) to stop him. They have a base located in the real Angel Island and have special devices that act as a shrinkable iPad essentially. It can be used for a variety of uses, listed below.
The main villain is as follows, but there can be more added if people like:
Name: Gowan
Species: Robotic Hedgehog, looks like a purple metal sonic
Abilities: Metal Sonic's, small differences I'll go into later
Gender: N/A
Rival: Anyone allied with good.

Also, there is another thing...Teams. Like, Sonic Heroes, Team Chaotix...you can make your own.
Finally, rules.
-No godmodding
-No OP abilities, I shall point out them if I see them
-Have fun!
-Limited to three rivals
-Only I can control Canon characters, as they will be used in events. I have a way for randomly selecting from a list of them so it's not fabricated so it seems more like a random event.
Also, things you need to know:
The device you use has many functions. It can search for items, though this is very rudimentary and can't sense many. It can certainly sense Chaos emeralds, but since I don't want people cheating to get them, I will state when somebody is near one. It can be used to register rivals and track their locations. It can be used to video call other players.
Events range from three possible:
The first, a canon encounter, in which a player finds a canon character.
The second, a sparkling gem, in which a player finds a chaos emerald (Randomized).
The third, a tripwire trap, in which a player falls into a trap set by Dr. Robotnik.
Events will start triggering on the third page.
