As most of you know Coldplay has won Song of the year award for their hit song Viva La Vida... So what would you guys have chosen for Song of the Year?

I actually agree with what was already chosen (Viva La Vida) it's an awesome song...

Totaly agree, although, I would have liked Strawberry Swing to be nominated. Never played on US radio, but I love the song.

slipknot's dead memories
this song is just well writin and shows how much the band has grown as song writers granted its a bit softer then thier usuall stuff

yeah that one's good too... all of their songs are awesome though... i would've liked Violet Hill or 42 to be nominated also

They're a metal band from iowa, if coldplay is your kind of music, then slipknot quite possibly isn't, personally, song of the year for me is Hero Of War by Rise Against

i just checked out slipknot on youtube and they're not something i'd like... i completely hate metal and especially all that screaming crap... no offense

well its not all acctuly screaming its called frying its a vocal techniuqe and almost all vocalist now how to do it even the ones that sing lighter music

well no one can realy be opposites in music pple just favor one style over the other like i thing the gorillaz are cool and so do u but i dont like cloldplay and u dont like slipknot
