Nah, it's not being a bad person. I do the same, it's like sick humor in a way. They had some kid cut his knee open (it was an old scab) at my work the other day and he started bleeding like crazy. And before I got the first aid kit for his mom and him, I just thought "Damn, if this kid somehow died of blood loss, I probably wouldn't have to work tomorrow." But I never mean it and then I do the right thing. You'd be a bad person if you kept your son of a bish thought and just camped on your chair. You were just being comedic, just in a different and twisted manner Lol
