Something to notice about Tsunade and Jiraiya when it comes to Naruto

I mean, he spent nearly 3 years training Naruto, mostly to control his Kyubi chakra, yet he could have shaved 80% of that time to just take him to the cave and awaken his full potential there! He could have then spent more time with supplementary training to help Naruto's base stats. Who knows? He could have helped Jiraiya against Pain and saved a life!

So you expect Jiraiya to walk into the Cloud Village, still an enemy with 2 tailed beasts hosts and likely wants a third, and train there? Even better Jiraiya would have to know about the cave first to even warrant going there. Villages each have secrets they don't share and that was one of them. Once they all joined up for this war all cards were placed on the table.
