I read that one a few years ago. And months ago, I read in an interview, that, while they were discussion the backgrounds of characters like Kakashi, Kishimoto-sensei was asked whether he would ever give more information about Sakura's family and he answered that he had kind of forgotten about her LOL
Guess Kishimoto-sensei is really not interested in the main heroine XD
