Something doesn't add up here.....

I just read chapter 597 and something doesn't add up. I KNOW, I KNOW, Kishi either has plot holes OR uses Deus Ex Machina/Plot No Jutsu to explain stuff that don't make sense. Regardless, if the indications are true, HOW IN THE HOLY HECK COULD TOBI GET OBITO'S O T H E R EYE?!?!! I mean, the whole other half of his face and body was literally CRUSHED under a massive rock/boulder which would have DESTROYED the eye. The good eye was given to Kakashi by Rin. I have several theories but by all means, please comment on others that I haven't thought of.

Theory #1 - Tobi really IS Obito and was somehow "saved" by the Rock Ninjas that were pursuing Kakashi and Rin BEFORE Yondaime FTG'ed to save them. Saving Obito might have been useful for intel and interrogation. He later escapes and has SERIOUS ISSUES against Konoha/Kakashi for not saving him (even though there was no way for anyone to know he was alive but we are talking about an individual that was mentally cracked after torture).

Theory #2 - Tobi somehow got a hold of Obito's eye either through Zetsu or by himself. But this does not explain how they could "reconstruct" a crushed eye smashed by a ton of rocks.

Theory #3 - They used Obito's DNA and created ANOTHER Obito post-death and combined it with a Zetsu clone with all of Obito's intelligence/emotions/memories. This would explain how he got the Reverse Kamui technique and why he is stark raving mad.

Theory #4 - They used Obito's DNA and made a copy of Obito SIMILAR to how they cloned Hashirama when Tobi/Zetsu showed Kabuto the underground laboratory.

Theory #5 - They somehow cloned Kakashi POST Obito's death when he had the Sharingan and Tobi is a demented clone of Kakashi. This right here is simply far fetched but from the mind of Kishi, I guess ANYTHING is possible?

Tbh there's nothing saying his face got crushed. I think the boulder just crushed his body and that's why it took some time before he died. The boulder was probably shaped so that it didn't hit his face.

Look, he is just trying to explain how he recovered the eye, and although he later goes on to state Tobi theories, it is a good initial question, I want to know that too.

It might sounds weird, but Obito was also able to speak with half his body being crushed. So the fact is that his other eye has a slim chance of surving the rocks. Don't forget it is stil a manga.. Do not treat it like real life, it doesn't work like our world..

All your theories pose many questions: Why haven't Tobi "reconstruct" Danzou? Why haven't Tobi clone Danzou? What evidence do you have to say the Obito "saved" by Rock Shinobi? All you theories lack evidence. Therefore, could not proven to be true. Kakashi gave a subjective question, but Tobi did not a definite answer. He ask, "Where did you get that eye?" and not "Is that Obito's eye?". Tobi - being the one who read words carefully - replied giving facts: "It was during the Past War," The fight at the Kannabi Bridge." He also reference Kakashi's nickname "the Hero with the Sharingan" giving more that is was the Third Great War. Tobi never said that he has Obito's eye. Many came to the conclusion without enough evidence.
