Ok... first
when you hit a shadow clone... it goes *poof*

so the general theory is that naruto's clones cant survive past the 1 tail kyuubi stage...
because the Fox's chakra does so much damage to the body that they just instantly *poof*

So the Weird thing is this......

How Can Naruto's clones Now turn into Kyuubi mode without *poof*ing
For example when naruto is training to master nature manipulation... Kyuubi clone goes all out...

and how can a clone hold onto the rasenshuriken if it hurts the user...
(unless it only hurts the user on contact... like a bomb doesnt hurt till it detonates)

I do know that when Naruto got Gara back from Deidra, he was using multi-shadow clones. One of the clones was standing near Kakashi while Naruto was turning into the 9-Tails. I remember that the clone was getting "sick" when the 9-Tails started taking over...

Na, just think about all the times Naruto's clones were stabbed or crushed...Naruto vs Kimimaro for example.

no i mean how his clones can get a fox cloak and not go poof... even though the chakra does damage to the host...

maybe it DOES have something to do with some level of control...

From what I've seen, I only think 1 clone can get the cloak at a time... then that cloaked clone attacks the rest to be the only one left... kinda like being the "alpha male dog" ya know?

haha... i think i get what you are saying... basically Naruto is just getting stronger, and able to hold back the fox more... Naruto is trying to become Ceaser from that dog show...

I think the shadow clones limitations is based on naruto's limitations, when he used to go one tail, he used to loose himself, now he doesn't loose himself until the 4th tail, so when one of the clones looses control it goes straight into 4th tail mode.

That's my observation

Maybe because they have the Kybi chakra also. For exp. Narutos clones are weeker than Naruto himself and maybe the Kybis chakra is weeker in Narutos clones and it doesnt make so much damage.

kage bunshins cant be weaker.. the chakra splits up evenly amongst the clones..
it's ben stated earlier a lot in the anime.. aswell in naruto and in shippuuden

This is the question i made just a few days ago as well, it is weird isnt it??
