You find perplexing, what are the things about Japan that you would find difficult to adjust to if you lived there or visited?
For me it would be
Japanese toilets, you don't sit, you squat, I find this very difficult, no way I could use one and people carry those seats with a hole in them if they have troubles squatting. They have the same toilets in many places in Asia, China and Korea for a fact, I don't get why anyone would design a toilet that way.
And Japanese houses, traditional ones, I mean all those rooms and there is nothing in them, whats the point? I mean, I can understand a sense of calm about having so many empty rooms but wouldn't it get depressing after a while
This is a good natured discussion so please, don't turn in into a political or social slanging match, thanks
