It's very good but you'll have to pause a lot so you can read the fast scenes and so on. It has a very unique way to tell its story and that animation, 9/10.

This show is not for your typical shounen fanboy so if you like action all the time then it will be boring.

Basically this. The animation is quite distinctive, also to the atmosphere it's unique story gives out, and consists of rather quick scenes of dialogue and even quicker with monologues. Plus there are heaps of references and other stuff that you might not understand. It is aimed towards a more otakuish japanese audience after all (and let me tell you some scenes are really funny lol)

It's my favourite series because of its unique nature and style. The characters are really cool too.

If you're not liking the animation, check out the light novels. It's really worth it imo.

As a story, it's brilliant, as is the scene direction. It's approach, though, can easily get on your nerves after a while. Two or three characters will have these long mundane conversations (that set new records for fast pace) about nothing in between events, which typically leads to only two or three changes of scenery an episode. Half the jokes involve fanservice and half of those are pedophilic rather than titillating (the MC is beyond perverted, even by anime standards, though it kinda fits with the whole feel of the show). The cast is pretty great overall, though, and the payoff for each arc is more hit than miss for me.
