As a story, it's brilliant, as is the scene direction. It's approach, though, can easily get on your nerves after a while. Two or three characters will have these long mundane conversations (that set new records for fast pace) about nothing in between events, which typically leads to only two or three changes of scenery an episode. Half the jokes involve fanservice and half of those are pedophilic rather than titillating (the MC is beyond perverted, even by anime standards, though it kinda fits with the whole feel of the show). The cast is pretty great overall, though, and the payoff for each arc is more hit than miss for me.
