Orochimaru now had the knowledge of one of the most powerful techniques around. He was quite excited to try it out, but not now. No, he had more to learn here. Or at least, so he hoped as he followed closely behind Lucifer into the dark room. Orochimaru couldn't help but chuckle at the comment made by the Uchiha.

"Kuku..don't worry Lucifer. My plans don't include you. I don't usually bite the hand that feeds me."

He said sarcastically, waiting for the next task at hand.

I understand your cunning ways Orochimaru, don't take me for a fool. But i do understand talent when i see it and trust me, i'm always watching. But how far does your knowledge go. If i were to hit an Edo tensei ninja with a fireball, how long would it take for him to reform?

Lucifer still didn't trust Orochimaru, and this was obvious. Nonetheless, Orochimaru smirked upon being asked the question. It was very rare that he didn't know the details of something, and this was one of those times. He had never revived, and although he understood the concept behind it, he couldn't tell for sure without having seen or tested it. He was an experimenter by heart, and all of these things required the necessary conditions, which he didn't have now.

"Hm. The body of the revived soul is immortal, meaning it does grow back after sustaining damage. Considering that Tobirama developed this technique as a suicide mission type technique, I'd be inclined to believe that it would take a single turn for the body to reform? If not, faster. I'd have to "experiment" with it myself before I can really answer it."

Orochimaru says in a smug voice, knowing that Lucifer will add in the missing pieces of his hypothesis.

So Oral rebirth, how does it work? What are it's limits ect?

Oral Rebirth is quite useful as its basically a way to live again when you have been gravely injured and don't have something like Medjutsu. Nonetheless, its a forbidden technique because it goes against the very human nature, where the user of the technique will actually emerge from their own mouth, kind of like a snake, and leave their old (perhaps injured) body behind, much like a snake shedding its skin. Nonetheless, depending on the damage taken, depends whether or not this technique can still be used. Best used when you are burned, or you body is hit with some kind of poison. More large scale techniques will destroy your entire body before you can basically use this. So basically, best used when you take a hit in order to deliver the killing blow, then emerge from your mouth and survive your sacrifice. I see it as an ace which, if used right, can give you a second chance in a fight though it does not guarantee that your opponent will stand by as you emerge from your own mouth. So its all about opportunity for me.

Nonetheless, this is one of Orochimaru's signature techniques and hopefully I won't need to use it, unless I am in a really tight spot. The technique itself, although helpful, leaves you wide open to be attacked again.

Be careful with how far you go with it. If you lost a leg then used this, your new body would have that leg regrown. But a poison, that would depend, if it has spread through your body i'm not sure oral rebirth would cure it. But if you were stabbed in the foot with a poison that spreads through your body, then used this, you would avoid the poison. So don't rely on this too much:

A technique where you will gain some DNA of a person you want to revive, and then get a vessel for that person to be brought back in. This requires you to actually capture someone alive and use their body as a container for the soul of the dead person you are trying to revive. A technique purely for battle purposes, the person brought back is insanely durable and great to use for suicide like techniques or missions. The also keep the skills they had when they were alive, making them even more deadly. They can be fully controlled as well.

A purely supplementary technique where you will aim to survive damage by emerging through the mouth of the damaged body, and leaving it behind like an old snake skin. Pretty damn useful, though it depends on the situation, plus, it can be used twice making it pretty cool in times of need.

Description: Orochimaru will reveal his true self by exiting his body and revealing himself as a very big white snake. This white snake has a body made of what appear to be several other smaller white snakes and a head reminiscent of Orochimaru's original human head. However, due to the transformation, this head is much reptilian in features and must bigger. While on this form, Orochimaru's bites possess a paralyzing poison and his blood quickly disperses in the air if he is injured, bestowing the same effect. In this form, physical damage is not enough to kill him as he can simply reform by growing more snakes to form his body. The easiest way to defeat him in this form is to seal him or to cut his head off completely. In addition to being virtually immune to physical damage in this form, Orochimaru can use the snakes that compose his body to produce physical attacks with a mid-range radius that possess a physical damage of A-Rank level (counts as a move). While in this form, Orochimaru cannot weave handseals but can use elemental techniques from his mouth (if they don't require handseals and can be released from it). His speed in this form is drastically increased but his mobility and agility are not. The user must be in this form to leave his body and possess a new one through the living reincarnation technique. The risk of such a form is that if Orochimaru fails to defeat his enemy, he will be left without his former vessel as once Orochimaru exists his vessel, he cannot return to it.
Note: Usable once per battle.
Note: If the user doesn't defeat his opponent while releasing this form (when this is used in combat), he will lose his former vessel.
Note: Exposure to paralyzing poison takes 1 turn to fully paralyze an enemy.

Description: This is Orochimaru's greatest and strongest technique. Using the "power of reincarnation" possessed by the White Snake as an intermediary, he can transform into a giant white serpent with eight heads and eight tails (similar to rock/bone). The serpent boasts a giant body, even larger than that of Manda, who was feared as the "strongest colossal serpent". Just by crawling on the scales of its abdomen it was able to trample the Uchiha hideout, and can destroy most things without difficulty. When using this technique, Orochimaru can emerge from the mouth of one of the heads and use his Kusanagi Sword to attack. This form leaves Orochimaru immune to ninjutsu up to A-Rank and able to take up to 3 S-Ranks without damage. He cannot, however, use Elemental Ninjutsu or Genjutsu while on this form. He can only use the 8 heads to attack the enemy through physical blows and bites. The bites are poisonous and can paralyze anything they injure. Each head can be used to deliver an S-Rank physical attack up to Long range and he can use up to 3 at the same time in one attack.
Note: This technique can only be used once by Orochimaru bios and lasts 4 turns, after which the user reverts back to his normal form.

In this form, I can bite the opponent, which gives off a poison, my blood does the same I believe. In this form, I can regrow parts as well if cut, and also attack with normal techniques, but only ones that don't require hand seals and are used from the mouth. Pretty much the form needed to take over another body, and although he is quite strong in this form, it still makes him vulnerable.

Whip out this technique if you really want that vessel. This allows you to form into a massive eight headed snake, with eight tails. From one of their mouths, Orochimaru (I) can emerge, and use my sword of Kusanagi, and also, in this form, Orochimaru is immune to A rank techniques and below, and can tank up to three S ranks.The heads of the snakes can be used to inflict physical damage, as well deliver poisonous bites. Each head can deliver an S rank physical head, and three can be used at once (3 S ranks at once basically). Pretty deadly technique, with very little drawbacks, and really showcases Orochimaru's powers.

I'd definitely use it when the opponent I am trying to subdue is already quite weak, or get into close range and aim to overwhelm my opponent, since my blood can paralyze them, as well as a bite. This would mean, even if they do land a blow (and I regrow parts), they stand a chance of being paralyzed, making it far easier to take them on, really. Though its crappy, if they overpower me, I lose access to my former vessel, so every vessel after the first is a gamble and has to be planned well for it to be successful.

Well for you, genjutsu is the big advantage, if you can get them bound and in a genjutsu before even starting the take over process, or, get a summon to strike too... it could be pretty useful xd
