I have also thought about this theory, I think chakra or spiritual energy can be seen and manipulated, it can be seen by the visible eye only if there is an enormous concentration of it. Theoretically if energy can become visible it is releasing energy and so possibly sound energy. That is the reason why Chidori has such a high-pitched sound frequency.

And about the scientists say we only use 10% of our brain well if we could use more i'm sure an individual could break all the barriers of the real world that we all know. Scientists also say when we become trully angry for example in order to protect someone, our physical power increases by around 10% and we get this sudden surge of power. According to how jutsu's work one must have enough spiritual as well as physical power and then combine these to forms of energy..to create chakra by which hand signs are needed to utilize a specific jutsu.

yes its very possible only there's no ninjutsu or genjutsu. everyone does have chakra but it takes years and years too learn how too focus it and you can only do it through meditation.
buddhist have too practice it for 50 years and up in order too gain control over it.

the 8 gates are almost real there's only 7 and humans can only use 1 of them.

there are news reports of women and children who have lifted up cars when protecting a loved one, that is the first gate.

But in all seriousness, no I don't think so. Most if not all people who have claimed to have extra human abilities have been discredited. Most of our hidden potential however likely lies in the realm of smarts. We barely use our brain to it's max. Often times when someone does they are left deficient in some other way. Actually one of the most amazing real thing's I've seen is a guy known as Brain Man who has an amazing memory and was able to learn one of the most difficult languages in the world in a week or two and memorize like the first 50K numbers in pi. He's a savant, but like most savant who usually seem obviously handicapped in other ways he could totally pass as completely normal even though he isn't. Some other interesting "abilities" if you wanna call it that seem to be coming from gradual evolution. There seem to be some women that can see part of the ultra violet spectrum of light in one part of the world, and another where there may be some people who are immune to aids.
