Welcome to the edge of knowledge. An emporium of the New World's bastion for wisdom and guidance amid the cataclysmic sundering that split the very foundations of not only the world, but its people and cultures as a whole. The "Great Reset" was upon us, and with the introduction of the great banners of both celestial powers and newfound nations, much was needed to rekindle the balance throughout the new stage set in front of all that remained.

Aureliana, the Maiden of Stars and the Goddess of Wisdom has planted her banner upon the world, staking her claim to the Chungsu panhandle, converting its entire region into that of the newfound nation of Solanaceae: The City of Stars. While it was true that she was not the first to arrive in the human world, she was hardly the least impactful to establish her imperial structure and give form to a sprawling nation that had only begun to grow in rapid succession. Its very foundations were built upon the principles nurtured by its Regent: "To illuminate and guide the flock; those who wander, but are not lost, even amid the darkest hour." It was by this creed that the Empire of Solana had been given shape and began its unprecedented spiraling growth. Upon its foundation, Aureliana had established her Court, of which was composed of two primary bodies that served within as her most immediate delegates. One such body is the Plirotís, who are various skilled individuals that act as designated operators of particular tasks assigned by Aureliana, such as treasurers, advisors and foreign affiliates or representatives, among a few examples that might suit for one becoming a Plirotís. The nation of Solanaceae became known as the "City of Stars," a great reflection of its role as the new world Shepherd; those that are lost or that wander, find their way to it by the guiding light that brims from its borders.

Here contains the contents necessary for those that are aiming to acquire "favor" with Solanaceae in the New World. "Favor" as mentioned previously is defined as a sort of social currency that can be accumulated and developed upon with each of the Delegates throughout the RP through acquisition methods that are designated by the respective Delegates of each Faction. For Solanaceae, such methods may vary from various fulfillment tasks that take the form of assigned NW missions acquired from its Delegate @Red-Robin, which may take the form of interactive dialogue with certain key characters, or even simply aiming to perform assistive measures toward Solanaceae by completing/participating in public events within its borders or spreading its influence in some way. While these are not the only methods of acquisition, they are the most notable and as such will come with various developments as the arcs surrounding these new factions unfold. Due to such brimming possibility for growth around this subject, this thread exists with the intended purpose of providing a trackable format for everyone that is interested in interacting with Solanaceae and its story. At present, all known races and creeds start out at a neutral standing (+/- 0) with Solanaceae, and as such leaves room for growth for any and all who seek to benefit the Nation of Stars.

Within Solanaceae exists a ranking system as players begin to accumulate favor with the Nation of Stars and its Regent. Through the growth of their favor, so does their influence and recognition within the city and its stretching borders, setting definable privileges that others would otherwise lack without meeting this criteria. Below is a layout of each respective favor rank and their corresponding favor values required to achieve, as well their specific privileges:
Solanaceae Favor Titles

Someone who has shown recognizable attention toward Solanaceae and its people are known as "Hyperetes." These individuals have developed a common understanding with the City of Stars that their interests tend to align, which has afforded them the capacity to come and go within the city as they please, while mutually gaining access to some of Solanaceae's more reserved resources. As a Hyperetes, you are a honored guest among Solanaceae.

Empires thrive under the fervent attentiveness of those that are most ambitious. Those that reflect this sort of creed in their actions are known as "Agoranomos"; those who frequently come and go within the City of Stars, yet show that -more than not- they find their place along side its people. Someone who holds this title find that they have open access to many of the finer items that Solanaceae has to offer, including merchandise from its market, but also may be entrusted with more critical tasks that may yet offer richer rewards. As an Agoranomos, you are family among Solanaceae.

*Handpicked by Aureliana
Very few and far between are those that might be considered for positions of "Plirotís." As one who carries such a title, you are considered to be well regarded not only by the people of the city, but have also garnered the attention of the Goddess of Wisdom herself. As one of the highest honors afforded to Wanderers, a Plirotís has shown their allegiance to Solanaceae, where they now sit among the inner Council of Aureliana's court, affording them much sway in regard to the internal affairs of the city and its future.

Please note that the simple act of accumulating favor with Solanaceae does not inherently align you with the nation. While there may be future potential for such a development for those seeking it down the line, gathering favor simply affords certain privileges and recognitions in Solanaceae, thus no individual is "locked" into their choice to affiliate with Solanaceae. With that said, it is possible to reduce ones favor with the Nation of Stars by working against its interests, so be sure to keep that in mind as you progress.

Below is a chart of the "current" designated methods of acquiring favor with Solanaceae and their respective values afforded upon completion of each. From there is another list containing a tracking system for existing Roleplayers that have begun the process of acquiring Favor and the amount of favor they are recognized to have achieved thus far.

Here you can see a list of currently existing "Mission Prompts" that can be used by players as a means of fulfilling one of the few favor-collecting methods. It's important to note that these prompts, while similar to NW Storyboard Missions are not the same as NW Storyboard Missions. While you might be able to include them into your storyboard mission elements, these prompts are meant to be utilized specifically as guiding elements in ones pursuit of favor with Solanaceae. How you integrate them into your writing is up to you, but they must meet the criteria listed in reasonable depth and detail. Please keep in mind that missions performed "for Solanaceae" without being recognized and approved by @Red-Robin will be considered unofficial and thus void of being allowed to claim favor relating to Solanaceae. This is to avoid "favor farming" from cropping up as people might perform menial tasks to try and fast-track their development with Solanaceae, as well as to help maintain as consistently as possible the tracking of all favor that has been accumulated by everyone respectively.

This list will be updated frequently, so if a task does not currently exist to your liking, check back frequently to find further additions to the list as the story develops. Please also don't hesitate to contact @Red-Robin directly with ideas of your own for a prompt that you'd like to have included for favor-gathering purposes.
Also note that once a player has utilized one of these prompts already, they cannot use the same prompt again without first completing two different prompts after it. This is to discourage and avoid unwanted repetition or abuse of any one prompt that may seem "easier" to complete than others, so please keep this in mind when organizing your efforts:

"The Veil Before Our Eyes"
"Deeply rooted within the seat of Solanaceae's capitol has sprung forth a tear in the very fabric of reality itself. A Rift, one of two that has formed throughout the world has become one of many new anomalies to begin reshaping our very understanding of the post-cataclysmic world. The Goddess of Wisdom and thus Solanaceae thrives on knowledge and its capacity to make sense of the unknown."
For those that participate in a Rift throughout the world, then travel to Solanaceae ("Ruins of Chungsu {001}" to declare new information or findings about any Rift they have participated in to a Solanaceae official, they shall garner favor with Solanaceae.

"With Great Power Comes..."
"Far from home is where many who come and go. While the Cataclysm has left much devastation in the wake of a new dawn, so has it brought about considerable responsibility for those that remain today. What we do with such responsibility will forever shape the future of the very world; paving the way for generations to come."
Establish ties within the Nation of Solanaceae by building an impressionable mark. From district building to road paving; teaching youth to nurturing and tending farmland. Those who produce for Solanaceae shall garner favor with Solanaceae.

"Birds of a Feather..."
"No one ideology is truly right, but neither does right and wrong discriminate by the flag one chooses to wave. May our morality be our guiding compass amid the vastness of uncertainty instead of the colors we choose to wear."
While Solanaceae may be a thriving Nation now, it certainly faces opposition in the way of other banners that have laid their claim to their own territories. From the Freehold to Asterion, each and every nation has their own goals and motives. Those who are capable of reliably serving the interests of Solanaceae through representation while dealing with other Foreign nations, be it in negotiations, participating in events or other similar affairs, shall garner favor with Solanaceae.

Just as there are means of developing favor with Solanaceae, there are also means of reducing your standing or favor with the Nation of Stars. Here is a list of a few -though not necessarily all- recognized subjects that may reflect negative outcomes related to your standing with Solanaceae. Please keep in mind that these methods of lost favor are intentionally broad, although they try to keep to at least a general concept that can be identified easily should the offense be made. Although these may not be all the likely ways to reduce ones favor, lost favor will not be retroactively applied if a new negative factor is introduced here, but will be enforced regardless of "awareness," so please check back here often if you are unsure of whether something may or may not harm your reputation:

Negative Favor Outcomes/Ranks

Solanaceae -while being home to many with little notion of discrimination or limitation in who it welcomes- is predominantly known for keeping its cards close to its chest, often seen to be a reclusive, isolationist nation. Those who directly relay information regarding Solanaceae to foreign bodies will surely have their trust crippled with not only its people, but the Goddess of Wisdom herself. (-5 favor)
While Solanaceae is the bastion of Wisdom and the embodiment of several virtues, the most noteworthy of virtues its people promote is the capacity for solicitude. Any blatant acts of barbarism or senseless violence throughout the world works directly against everything Solanaceae stands for, and as such will most assuredly work against your standing with them. (-3 favor)
The Goddess of Wisdom is truly compassionate and nurturing, garnering her the recognition of "Lady-Mother" by many who reside within Solana. Aureliana truly recognizes those that surround her precious city as her Children. As such, the act of bringing misfortune or harm -even the mere prospect of ill will- to the citizens of Solanaceae in any form holds a guarantee of suffering her disapproval directly. (-? favor)

Much like the growing potential of opportunity and recognition for the accumulation of favor with Solanaceae, it is possible for you to develop a considerably negative reputation with the Nation of Stars and its Regent, forming levels of "Infamy" that will begin to impact your relation as a whole with Solanaceae. Listed below are a few categories one might begin to pass through if they proceed to neglect their attention to Solanaceae's basic principles:

Infamy LevelDescriptionFavor Required
Astray (-1)
One who has become "Astray" is regarded as a sort of "Black Sheep" amid Solanaceae. While they are not directly shunned nor considered unredeemable, their deeds have begun to show some negative reflection in the outlook people of Solana have of them. Their actions might be watched more carefully, merchants may be unwilling to deal with you and the very air within Solanaceae may begin to feel far "heavier" for you to so much as breathe when within the city.
-10
Burdened (-2)
For a "Burdened," you are seen as one who has taken on a considerable weight upon your shoulders, and not one that is owed commendation.. Your presence is frequently regarded as unwanted within Solanaceae, regardless of your purpose or intentions. People will insist that you leave them alone, unwilling to trust or confide in you, making it far more difficult to regain your reputation with Solana's people.
-25
Fallen (-3)
The lengths for which one must go to achieve the status of "Fallen" has truly done wrong by the kindness shown to them through patience for their misdeeds.. Aureliana regards many as her children, and as a Mother does, affords them many chances to prove themselves. Yet for a Fallen, you have squandered any hope or expectation of your worth to the Nation of Stars, leaving you as an outcast. To walk the streets of Solanaceae is to risk judgement and hostility from the authorities that govern, leaving little choice but to seek refuge within borders elsewhere.
