Soken Ishida(Uryu's grandpa)=Stern Ritter C

I think this Stern Ritter looks a lot like a younger version of Soken.

The glasses make me think he is an Ishida. The cheek bones are similar, the tip of the nose, his eyes(have the same flat look, even while training his grandson which should be a moment of pride for him he has a cool/calm demeanor) and the glasses style(grandpa and stern ritter= rectangled Uryu = half circle) You can see a line coming down from the forehead of the Stern ritter above the corner of the right glasses frame and Grandpa has a similar forehead line above the corners of his frames. The width of their face is almost even. The chin(GP/SR = flat Uryu = pointy) the mouth lines around the mustache(If I had photoshop I could show better, you can see them well on the SR not so much GP) If you don't see it that's cool.

All of these stern ritter are "dead" as they are in soul society which only 3 humans before have done(that I recall, Orihime, Chad and Uryu. Ichigo was in shinigami form.) Plus Bach referred to Uryu as the last living which also gave me the impression the Stern Ritter army were spirit forms of their original bodies(when their body dies instead of going to SS they went to Bach and he reorganized them into a fighting force, just a theory)

I'm not gonna say it ABSOLUTELY is based on appearance but it wouldn't surprise me if he was. After all Souken was the head of the Quincy on Earth for awhile so he would be strong, and if this guy ends up being SR C like others suggest that would only solidify the thought with me.

Here Soken would be shocked because when they were living he tried to instill upon Uryu the idea of forgiving the soul reapers and to not start a grudge against them. It may have shocked him to see Uryu now a teenager disreagard his living wishes and join a militant Quincy group bent on the destruction of Soul Reapers.

That answered I open a new question I'm trying to rationalize, "Why, if Soken wanted Uryu to forgive Shinigami, is he in this group now" and the only thing I can come up with is that Bach has some kind of Lore or Sway over all Quincy, maybe even possessing an inherent trait where they must obey him once in spirit form. He is supposed to be Quincy King(or whatever title he has, Top Quincy, maybe he is supposed to be the Seal King from that song they mentioned this chapter since he's attacking soul society which will more than likely destroy the world if it goes) His blood flows through every Quincy maybe by this he is able to force them to do what he wants them to do, I am not sure.

Sorry if it's a little jumbled this idea formed in another thread> and I tried to reorganize it as best I could. I know it's a little hard to buy and we won't know until the manga says so until then it's just speculation, but I was curious if other people saw a resemblance or not and how would you feel if it does end up being Soken?

Thanks for reading.

That could explain why he was never named yet. Maybe Kubo's waiting until we get some interaction between the Quincy and Uryu revealing that he's actually Soken

how did he come back to life?? . .wasn't he dead??
All of the Vanderrich are dead besides Uryu, hence Bach making the statement Uryu is the last living Quincy. Plus they're in soul society which is where the dead people live. So yes he was and is dead, he did not come back to life. I covered all that. Human bodies do not equal human form.

So they're most likely ain't dead.
I don't know what "purged" means to you or what all their bodies being taken from Earth means to you, but to most it says they are not living anymore. Whether you believe in it or not, take the rapture as an example, the faithful are purged and brought into heaven, exact same thing.
