I've noticed that in today's society, people are too easily offended. Its reasonable to be offended over things that are racial, sexist, religious, etc. but now its common to see people get offended for the sake of being offended.
Its often people tend to try to take things that personally offended them and try to make it an "everybody offended" type of deal, if you know what I'm trying to say.
Heres a quote I'll use to get my point across;
"It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm offended by that', as if that gives them certain rights; it's actually nothing more...It's simply a whine. It's no more than a whine. 'I find that offensive' it has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase.
'I am offended by that', well so ****ing what?" -Stephen Fry
