I find it quite common where I live for people to be offended by small things. Its annoying, and I understand if someone says something quite offensive or hurtful, and you have every right to be angry. But if I went up to someone fat and said they're fat, and they said "I'm offended by that" or something of the like or something to similar effect, really? You're going to whine about me making a slightly rude comment? All I would get from that is that they like whine and b*tch over petty things.
