I'm on your side, but the Big Bang Theory is still a theory. Nothing in physics becomes a set law, heck even gravity is still a theory. The big bang theory is absolute given the evidence, but by technical definition it remains a theory.

Not true, the BB is a fact. The only thing that needs more research is what element caused it in the first place. Which is why they built the HLC.
And gravity is a theory, is not what you mean. It's a proverb meaning that the word 'theory' does not share the same meaning in science as it does in daily life.
One is personal belief, the other based on calculation and experimentation.

So... By that, at some point, everything was just created out of nothing? Doesn't it actually make sense that something HAD to have been there to make everything, because otherwise it's just an infinite cycle of something creating another thing.

I didn't say that. Just breaking down some relevant things before carrying on. But I think you might be spot on with that 'infinite cycle' thing. But ..hmm..sigh.. this is gonna take a sh1tload of time to explain on a touschreen phone.

I like to use Einstein's perspective on our reality when talking about our universe. Both physical and non-physical phenomena which is hard to comprehend.

Einstein: 'The field is the governing agency of the particle'.
'The field' referring to energy/consciousness/frequencies and 'the particle' simply referring to our physical reality aka matter.

Hold on, trying to look up a image which might help make it clear

It was bad enough that their wher people bashing gays but now people are bashing god
And I don't mean all the aithiest on this thread because some are expressing their opinion in not believing in god in a respectful manner but not everyone

Okay, I admit natural was a poor word, but I didn't want to use "normal" because people would freak out at that.

And it is not normal. Normal would be what the general consensus of society agrees upon/acts upon, and it's safe to say more than half is heterosexual.

This thread also got a little out of hand.

True, by the technical definition of the word, homosexuality is "abnormal". However, by that same definition so is blond hair, blue eyes and left handedness.

I know that, but wouldn't the scientific definition of theory fit into the BB ?

So can you at least agree to say that homosexuality is indeed natural by definition -.-

Or are you against the dictionary as well ?

No, that was just me being stubborn. By definition, you could say it's natural.

Just straight up answer this question then;

How did the FIRST bit of ANYTHING come into existence from NOTHING?

That the thing, moron. We don't know. And neither do you. No one does.

Science is busy finding that specific issue's cause, which is why they build the HLC is Switserland.

Your notion of God creating it, is just as valid as the premordials in Greek Mythology.

Those arn't as controversial, though. Which made me think... Why do we feel uncomfortable around homosexuals, as a reaction?

I mean, you don't go around calling people "haha you're so blonde!". "Gay" just automatically comes with negative conotations.

Gotcha. You don't know how it was made.

So it's just as propable God made it. That's all I needed to hear.

Well, depends on in which context you're calling it a theory.

The cosmic radioactive background is an infrared map of the nebula left after the BB. It's existance is a fact.
The BB-theory now only applies to the way it was caused.

What about God creating the big bang ? That seems the most plausible :yayy:

Well, I've toyed with the idea, like I said.

I think it would still fit. Genesis is a trippy book in the Bible, filled with metaphors and strange wordings.

Who knows? A day to God really could be billions upon trillions of years if he wants it to be.

Gotcha? How so? Maybe in your head it is...

For the argument "God created" there has to be evidence for the existance of God to begin with, and there is none.
So, it is impossible for 'belief in god' to be measured to 'something we allready know exists'.

If you were a detecive, you'd let the maid go, because your Sherlock Holmes novel said the Butler did it.

Couldn't it just as equally be that you're missing the obvious, and the Big Bang is evidence of God?

Funny thing too, I'm going to college to go into Criminal Justice hopefully as a detective :D

Its only controversial because we make it controversial. And that's mostly because things like the bible have convinced people its an evil act. In cultures like Ancient Greece or Rome, they were much more accepting of homosexuality. And in certain areas of the world today they're more accepting of it as well. It just depends on the culture you were raised with.
