SO6P was a Monk who establish Ninjutsu and the clan system,who created the First Ninja Clan,Who had Sons and followers. What was the Name of that Clan sines Uchiha and Senju would be created way later by the descendants of the First and Second Son. But the SO6P did have a Clan and that served to be the example all other Ninja groups use to make their on Clans.

What makes you think that a priest or monk couldn't belong to a clan? Jesus was a traveling prophet but he belonged to the tribe/clan of David, so there is no contradiction in being a traveling sage and belonging to a clan, think about it.

There were no clans back then... lmao. And also.. it was where the world was constantly at war. And then SO6P was a priest who traveled.. he stopped the Juubi and then became the "GOD".
