I think when people say SO6P was an Uzumaki, I think they mean it in the sense that the Uzumaki have the most similiar DNA/abilities to him than the Uchiha, Hyuga, & Senju

I actually agree with you here XD! Though, Derp Obito is doing a good job of trying to change my mind XD! At the same time...I feel exactly like you...how do you have a member of a ninja clan create the concept of ninjas and ninja clans (not only that, but it was descendants that formed the clans)?! They can't exist while not existing!

The simple counter argument is this: What if the Sage's last name is Uzumaki, and from the Senju Clan a member picked up the title of Uzumaki once again, and as such the blood relatives between Senju and Uzumaki now exist.

Only time will tell....I am kind of hoping that the Sage is unique; however, it would be interesting if he did turn out to be an Uzumaki.

The monk/priest thing can't be denied, I agree. If anyone's familiar with Inuyasha, the monk/priest Miroku carried the same staff with the rings on it.

I see your point, but with so many clans now evolved with eyes that relate to his, there's so many possibilities. It is true when you think about it that they all evolved from him down through his bloodline.

Naruto being implied as the chosen one might not have anything to do with his bloodline. It's a weird idea but I think back to a game called Lunar. In it the girl Luna finds out she's actually the Goddess. Sometimes I wonder if Naruto is the same way and something will awaken in him and reveal him as the SO6P (or his powers will be granted to him) because of how he seems to be the only one who is different from everyone. They say how everyone Naruto meets he changes, his determination to fight fate and destiny, etc... he tries to bring peace, just like the Sage did.

It's not "Ninja clans" per-say, but the original bloodlines that lead to the clans conception. Under the assumption (with loads of proof) that the Sage was an Uzumaki, that doesn't mean he was part of the Uzumaki clan, rather he was part of the Uzumak bloodline and the clan surfaced much later in history when clans arose. He is linked to the Senju and Uchiha through his sons, but they weren't called that until the conception of the clan system and later Shinobi system.

Kishimoto is a great writer and all, but he isn't very logical. There are many plotholes in the story of Naruto.

- (example) The biggest one is the perfect Jinchuriki Yagura being controlled by genjutsu/Obito when it is said that your tailed beast partner will wake you up out of any genjutsu trance.

Kishimoto could very well say that the Sage of Six Paths was an Uzumaki without even looking back at his manga scans.

Dude Uzumaki are the same as Senju.. they suck ass as fighters. Thats why they got killed. Uzumaki focused on sealing.. which people like Hashirama and SO6P also did. They SPECIALIZED in sealings. If you want real feats of the "Body" of the SO6P then Senju clan is the clan to look at. If you want the Eye power example, then the Uchiha clan.

SO6P started they whole sealing thing.. and the Uzumaki solely specialized in it.. so of course they would have something in common.. lol. But the Uzumaki are Senju linage... soo yea.

hmm, if you look at it that way.. the 2 time changers have been :

Hashirama : Senju + Mokuton

SO6P : Senju + Uchiha

And Naruto is suppose to the one who carries Hashirama's will, and also the one whose gonna combine the Bijuus. And make peace like the people he is suppose to resemble.

Only 2 bloodlines evolved form the SO6P canon wise. (excluding theories or w.e).

Tsunade is ONE of the 3 sanin.

Sanin refers to 3 people. 3 people make Sanin. "Those are the Leaf's sanin."

Priest/ Monk/Prophet... all words reffering to SO6P.. none of them relate to ninjas or any of those.. he was a man who started the Shinobi sect.

Naruto plotholes.. nah. Its just we take them as plotholes.. instead of "Oh ok so he can do that also". Smple.

- Yagura was never stated to be a Perfect jinchuriki.

Kishimoto already declared who the SO6P is. The whole story of Naruto vs Sasuke is based on it.

What makes you think that a priest or monk couldn't belong to a clan? Jesus was a traveling prophet but he belonged to the tribe/clan of David, so there is no contradiction in being a traveling sage and belonging to a clan, think about it.
