Honestly I dont see the hype behind Jackman as Wolverine. He has his moments, but especially in the first three movies it's as clear as day that the movies were intentionally making Wolverine the central character when it was honestly just an awkward attempt at forcing a character. Thus, every movie has the need to make Wolverine the central, or at least a main character.

I like Hugh Jackman, I like him as Wolverine, but I would not go as far to say that he is the quintessential Wolverine. He was just forced into the spotlight and has never had it removed from the character. Im glad this is the final film with Wolverine in it (though a cameo/side role in a Deadpool film would be welcomed).

I agree. Got tired of him after Xmen 3 (not main reason I hated that one but still). One of the things I LOVED about First Class was it wasn't all revolved around Hugh Jackman.

But Wolverines 1st & (not SO much) 2nd movies were a waste of my time. Doubt I'll see this one though.

They likely won't recast him, he's been Wolverine for too long. They'll do X-23 instead.

thats sad i didnt know this would be the last time, he was a really good Wolverine imo and fit well. i even remember reading he use to take cold showers before shooting to help get into character

im hyped for this though, X-men is one of my top three faves so hopefully its good. i like the other two Wolverine movies though they got hate
