So, why does Everyone seem to think that Obito will beat Kakashi?

Here are some more explanation I'm quoting from my previous thread/post:

People are saying that Obito will be talk no jutsu'd or killed by Kakshi but that is not the case.

If we look at their abilities:

Obito: Genjutsu, 5 elemental release attacks, Rinnegan, Senju dna for regeration and Mokuton attacks, and very large chakra reserve. Obito also has insanely fast reaction because he has to kamui specific body parts just to avoid attacks.

Kakashi: Susceptible to genjutsu, 3 elemental attacks, and average chakra reserve. Kakashi might be slightly smarter than Obito, but against a more powerful opponent, that is not enough to defeat him down.

Kakashi just can't defeat Obito because he has became so powerful after gaining the Rinnegan, and he is very important to the plot.

Obito can't die yet because someone has to be a Jinchiiruki of the Juubi, either Madara if Obito uses his Rinne tensei to revive him, or Obito himself. He was also the person responsible for Naruto's life right now because he killed his parents and Naruto has to kill or redeem him. Kakashi is the one who will die because he is not as important to the series anymore because he has taught everything he has to Naruto.

The fact that Obito hasn't shown Rinnegan techs and variety of elemental attacks doesn't mean he can't use them, its just that he wasn't driven to the point where he has to go all Haxx on everybody. He also doesn't wan't to kill everyone, he just want's them to be under a Genjutsu, so that everyone can live in a world where it satisfy them.

Kakashi is Sannin level, but Obito is on the same leagues as Madara, so people shouldn't underestimate him, no matter how silly he has been acting this whole time and how his reasoning to be evil is very shallow.

What makes him a great villain is the fact that he is messed up beyond repair, he has lost the ability to think rationally, and is very driven to achieve his goal. This is the reason why Obito will not be talk no jutsu'd by Kakashi.

Are you still thinking that in Kakashi will defeat Obito?

I think only Naruto is able to and must defeat him because he parallels what Naruto could have became had he gave up to the challenges of the world and turn to the darkside.

Even if Obito beats Kakashi (which I don't think will happen..but it is highly likely), then Minato could save him because Kakashi has Minato's FTG tagged kunai. This way we see Minato's reaction to Kakashi and bad Obito and he can avenge his family.

Kakashi is smart, strong, and has a strong will as well, but everyone seems to think that Obito will come back from the dimension alone, just to get Naruto butthurt..

Yeah, that probably what's going to happen. Obito will beat Kakashi but he will not die, becuase there's no way Kakashi can beat the Mokuton, Rinnegan, Sharingan and Senju's DNA with only one sharingan eye and some raikiri.

Obito can't Phase in and out anymore. He could but I'll be bad, people can anticipate where a body part may come and attack him.

You take that away and Kakashi stands a chance. Obito isn't a wood user like Madara, he isn't gonna summon a whole forest and Obito doesn't use the rinnegan.
Kakashi is fresh and ready to go maybe more so since finish using Kurama's chakra. Kakashi shouldn't be underestimated he's one of few character that actually get stronger throughout the series.

Just because Kakashi knows how to counter Kamui does not mean that he actually can. He certainly can't do it alone as seen in the manga with him and Naruto combining their efforts to hit him. While Kakashi has gotten better at using Kamui, he still can't use it as effectively as Obito. Despite them both being in the Kamui world, Obito still has the upper hand with mokuton and rinnegan. We have yet to see him use any other rinnegan techs and it was never stated that he couldn't use them, so till then who's to say that he can't? I also don't get why people try to short side Obito because he mostly uses Kamui. It's a great tech. Who wouldn't use it at the rate he does if they could? That's like short siding Minato for using FTG. or Sasuke for using Blaze Release. Everyone has signature moves so the argument of them being nothing without said moves could apply to anyone. Bottom line, Obito>Kakashi
