So who is the boss?

I always thought, when I saw Obito and Madara, that Madara was the boss of the two but recent chapters show they are either equal or Obito is the boss. Even as a kid, he kind of yelled around and did what he wanted. He made his own plan, excluding Madara who was the brain behind the operation (in the end, two brains won't work). Obito is too smart and too strong to be pushed around so I think it is possible that he will be the final villain and that he is the boss in the end (excluding people like Oro and Sasuke here because we don't know their way).

I didn't quite get it right in the last chapter but was Obito trying to blackmail Madara? Everyone here always thinks Madara>Obito but things are really looking differently now.

Madara is far older and much more cunning. He is clearly in charge. Did you not see the smirk on his face after Obito said what he said? He fully expects Obito to act that way because he wants him to fill in control, but in reality he is the one pulling the strings even when it looks like he isn't.

I'd probably say Madara as well due to his exploits and fights he managed to pull of / win throughout his lifespan.

Though, I'll admit, I would like to imagine a scenario where Obito had actually died by those rocks and not saved by his petty Kamui. Imagine if he died, the whole Series would be different. Madara would have no pawn at his disposal to tell what to do before he cut the courds to kill himself. None of this would be happening.. Just a food for thought!

Obito thinks he is in charge, and probably plans on becoming the 10T jinchuuriki himself. This will fail and he will lose control. Madara is the only one who has nothing to fear from the juubi, as he is an edo, and can't be killed. So Madara can take his time, and when Obito flaunders and needs help (as he will), will push his own bargain on him, just as he turned him to his way when he was younger.
