People here seem to underrate Shin a lot. First of all he has sharingans all over his head, giving him a 360 degree vision, with the previliges of the sharingan predicting the enemy's attack. He was able to go against Sasuke in a mini clash, and can send weapons from behind Yamato's back, meaning that he won't be able to see them. He has furthermore showed amazing durbility, surviving after Sakura directly punched hum. Shin's weapons were also strong enough to pierce through Naruto's chakra cloak, and Shin's clone. Overall i would say that Shin is around high jounin level of power by his feats, and might be able to defeat Yamato with high difficulties.
But Sakura blitzed him, Naruto back in part 1 was able to make mutiple one hundred clones like it was nothing. Naruto at best med diffs all shins

That 360 vision didn't stop Sakura from smashing his internal organ out though, and Naruto was pierced by one of Sasuke's swords. It was a normal weapon, with no significant enhancements in strength. His MS ST jutsu just allows him to control the weapons he marks, and maybe even the people.

Not necessarily. Keep in mind that none of this stopped Sakura from blindsiding him in plain sight, logically Yamato won't have much trouble if he attacks from underground.

Sakura put him on a surgery table with a blunt attack, Shin will definitely be feeling it if Yamato gets in a clean hit with a sharp mokuton construct. Also, I only remember Sasuke's sword piercing Naruto, Shin's weapons pierced Sasuke.

I don't really see why people ride that one feat. A surprise attack out of nowhere from his allies weapon. When he was inside his chakra avatar, which he would think is safe.

On top of having zero knowledge on Shin, and even then Kurama stated the reason he didn't dodge was because of how rusty he is.

Not really that great of a feat
