I'm sure after he thinks about it for a second he will realize that the chance to beat Straw Hat Luffy in the ring in front of thousands of people is too good to pass up even for some quick revenge. OR they might just punch on there.

Ricky is probably Kyros and Gilly is just another fodder introduced for the tournament. I think in the other groups, will see some others being introduced.

Since I think he is older than Garp. I think he use to fight him when Garp was a marine captain. And that's why he hates Garp, because he was beaten by a marine captain.
