Naruto and Sasuke went from soloing Kaguya to getting soloed by baldy, AND SAKURA HAD TO SAVE THEM, WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED!?!? I know it's peace time, but, come on, Goku and Vegeta never got soft during peace time, heck, Goku didn't go soft while being dead what happened to Naruto and Sasuke?

You cant have the soloing everything wouldn't be any fun. But they both are rusty nobody's in there tier too give them a challenge and I doubt they both go full out when they spar against each other. But if there's a threat big enough the Bijuus will find there Meeting place ( Naruto ) and vote if the threat is big enough to lend Naruto all of there Chakra too eradicate it

They lost their practice and were rusty due to not needing/having fought in 12 years- weakening their battle senses, or at least that's how plot explains it.

Outside that you can say they were nerfed for story/suspense reasons.

well dbz plot is ass and shouldn't be used as a reference of comparison for situations that happened.

what I'm saying is that it is completely reasonable that they got a little rusty since they haven't fought in so long. this is not the first time something like this happened. hiruzen got rusty with age, and tsunade was stated to be rusty when fighting orochimaru since she hadn't been on the battlefield in so long.

people crying out "bad writing! kishi trolling!" are idiots, because what happened is the only logical choice. not only is it more realistic than them magically retaining their sharpness over a decade, it also gives the plot a chance to well... exist. because otherwise they would just destroy the shins and go on with their lives.

You people read what you want to read. There were multiple things that occurred and resulted into another thing. You all are making it so much more explosive. Naruto and Sasuke didn't "lose". The "fight" didn't even end. It was interrupted. Sasuke clearly displayed that he was more than a match for both of them alone, which was later supported by Naruto's statement. All these "could of, should of, would of's" further the point that the Shins were far outclassed. Sasuke could have used susanoo or amaterasu or rinnegan techniques and that would have destroyed Shin. You don't need Kishimoto to tell you that..

Yeah ya could, just call it, Naruto and Sasuke Ultimate Ninja Party Animal Bros, and just have them going around partying and getting wasted while soloing whatever ant comes to face them.

Kishi showed the bald guys ms technique on naruto,because naruto is the only person who can tank a sword through the stomach.and now people are pissed off saying he was nerfed,when in reality thete wad nothing he can do since he doesnt know the gius power but he dors now
