Remember every jutsu has it's weakness. But at least Madara gave complements to everybody he was fighting. It's like he's only fighting to test his ability...not really evil

Yes I am well aware of that. I'm not the one saying Susanoo is perfect.

I guess we can conclude Susanoo isn't as strong as most fanboys state he is?

I wouldn't understand why anyone would claim that the Susano-o is "invincible" when even before then Sasuke's Susano-o weakness was exposed.

You should've been knew this so this topic would be pretty pointless.

S This shouldn't surprise anyone. Danzo summoned up Snuffleupagus who nearly blew away Sauke's with a sneeze.

If a combined attack of raikage and mizukage can do that, imagine what a fully powered nine tails biju dama can do!

Thank God.

I was so sick of Susano'o being the "ends all" to every battle.

I'm ready to **** Itachi fans up the ass, even though I think Itachi is badass myself.

Madara's EMS has is now a rinnegan and that is one level above EMS so what makes you think he will use an incomplete sasuno'o when he is going up against the 5 kages

Quite simply.... Madara's Susano wasn't fully developed, thus, not nearly as strong as Sasuke's or Itachi's. Susano tends to develop in battle, so Madara likely never used it much when he was alive, and it never developed fully.

It's just like Sasuke's basic Susano against Danzo, he was able to penetrate the outer shell of it with a wind attack. Then Sasuke developed it more in battle, and it was much harder for Danzo to deal with. The following fight with Kakashi, Sasuke was able to pull out a much more developed Susano and then promply lost the light in his eyes.

A's attack was definitely one of the strongest attacks we've seen from him, and it was a combo attack with the Tsuchikage. I don't think it would have been possible had the Tsuchikage not used his technique to lighten A's body.

Lastly, if Madara had been capable of a fully developed Susano he would have been able to deal with A's attack a lot better. One thing I noticed though about Madara's Susano, is it has offensive capabilities earlier on than Sasuke's. Maybe that's why it was never developed further?

this is the best shit I've ever heard. sorry if it's insult you, but this is stupid.

Madara was almost blind because of overusing his MS and he was the first Uchiha with an EMS. his era was filled with battles until they formed the Leaf Village and you say Madara never used it much? and it is weaker than a teenager's boy who used it about 3 times...? really? also Sasuke's susanoo was pierced easily with one of A's single punch, while Madara's needed 3 kage...

It looks like someone needs an education in being a ninja. Kishi doesn't write characters that are just 'powerful' and then pits 'powerful characters' against 'even more powerful characters.' This isn't an American Marvel/DC comic, where the bad guy has extraordinary power and the good guy has to have even stronger power to beat him.

In every single fight, every single chapter, the person who wins isn't the one who's just more powerful. It's the one who best utilizes his techniques. So let's do a quick recap about the type of fighting we've seen from the various Uchiha.

Itachi - Is a long range defensive fighter who employs Genjutsu to defeat his opponents wherever possible. He does not use Taijutsu except when close range defense is needed, or he doesn't feel the need to use anything stronger. For him, Susanoo developed to be the ultimate defense because he would rather stay long ranged, and fight with fire style attacks or Amaterasu.

Even though he's a long ranged fighter, this isn't to say that his Taijutsu is lacking. He just doesn't possess the sheer strength to fight hand to hand like A, Gai, Rock Lee, Neiji, Naruto, ect.

Itachi's fighting tactics usually involve utilizing Genjutsu right of the bat to create openings for ranged attacks. Though he tends to be very cautious about using his powerful attacks, he tends to quickly read his opponents and pick the appropriate attack. Due to his conditions and the extensive use of his Sharingan, he likes to avoid long fights.

Sasuke - Is a mid ranged fighter who employs the use of a lot of basic attacks combined with taijutsu, fire style attacks, and lightning style attacks. Like Itachi, he is not a ninja the has a lot of physical strength, so he only uses taijutsu as necessary. Also like Itachi, he quickly reads his opponents and picks the appropriate level attacks. In addition, he formulates a game plan by thinking many steps ahead to plan the best opportunity to strike, and will manage his chakra/abilities to go the long haul.

In a couple fights he's pushed himself past the point of his plans and been caught off guard by attacks he was not aware his opponent was capable of. However, his real strengths lie in being able to adapt to situations and cleverly use his abilities in ways other ninja would have never thought of.

Madara - not much about Madara is known. The fighter we have seen who calls himself Madara is likely NOT madara at all, so his jutsu's don't really count as what Madara has in his arsenal.

The Madara we KNOW as the real madara, has shown himself to be like Itachi and Sasuke. A mid-long range fighter who does not specialize in Taijutsu. He has shown impatience in battle, like Itachi, and seems to execute techiniques to try and end fights quickly. His first technique was a giant wall of flame (not just a big fireball). Then he went into close quarters combat with a Katana to try and cut down a lot of the weaker ninja quickly, even using a weak genjutsu on at least one ninja.

Naruto tried to launch a surprise attack with the Tuschikage using odama rasengan, which was blocked by susano. The kazekage then proceeded to use sand to pull Madara away from Susano, and then Naruto tried to use an opening to hit him with Rasen shuriken.

Madara went straight to Rinnegan and absorbed the attack with one of Pain's defensive powers. Then he used susano + rinnegan to summon two gigantic 'meteors,' as well as used a wood style jutsu (earth + water) to try and crush his opponents quickly. His use of Susano has shown to be of offensive nature rather than defensive.

This means that unlike Itachi or Sasuke, his use of susano up until this point has been for major offensive attacks and only minor defensive ones, since he also has the rinnegan for defense. That is why I don't think that his susano is nearly as developed as Sasuke's or Itachi's since it appears as though he's not extensively used it as a defensive technique.

A few more things to consider:

Itachi's susano was formed as a fully defensive technique, wielding a shield that could seal techniques and a sword that could cut through any defense. His susano was entirely meant for close range defense and a quick close range counter attack.

Sasuke's susano was formed as a fully defensive technique, wielding a bow that could launch extremely fast attacks from ranged. His susano was entirely meant for close range defense and a quick long range counter attack.

Madara's sasuno seems to be formed as a fully offensive technique, wielding a melee weapon even in it's first stage, but also being able to use techniques such as 'meteor summon.

Because Madara is a fighter that likes to use his most powerful attacks to end fights quickly, he likely has never had to use Susano as a defensive tool except to block minor attacks, and that's probably why it's not nearly as strong (defensively) as Itachi's or Sasuke's Susano.

However, it does appear that Madara's version of the technique far surpasses theirs in terms of offensive capabilities.
