SO what do you think is going to happen when itachi confronts kabutomaru?

i agree, if he is able to pull out an "Ace in the hole" after losing Nagato? i'd be scuurd too.
honestly i dont think Itachi will fight kabuto, but rather just do what he said he was going to do and just walk away. Itachi is a pacifist, never fighting unless he absolutely has to. Itachi has done more than enough... he freakn cheated death just to protect his village. i really think it'll be Madara going against Kabumaru and just like the fiend he is with choosing sides, Kabumaru ends up being a good guy and claiming he planned the entire thing (joining akatsuki under sasori n all) just to get at Madara.

be a twist for sure. but no1 really know what kabumaru is planning, one minute he is torching a childrens hospital laughing maniacally n the next he is healing stray animals in those adopt a pet commercials.... just no1 knows.
Look at Itachi's expression when naruto rants about edo tensie and says it makes you fight the people you never wanted to. That's kind of Itachi's life story since the day of the masscre. He was not that much pessifist as we now know the whole story of his reasonings.
I think Naruto's words just killed another guy. His body counts keep grwing while he hasn't actually laid that last blow on anyone yet.

Hm diffucult to say i mean you cnt leave itachi alive with a immortal body but then cmon kabuto beating itachi mabey if his secret weapon helps him the only way i see him winning
I'd like to think that Itachi will see a fight with Kabuto is neccesary, despite his passive attitude, and defeat him. Which would dispel his re-animation jutsu and allow Itachi, Nagato, Asuma, and all the others to rest in peace. I think that would be a fitting end to the Kabutomaru saga and his front in the war.
