I've felt depression over a girl before. I would recommend talking to another girl to get over the first, however you might not want to do this because the "rebound" girl might catch feelings, which you probably won't be able to reciprocate. And you & I know how it feels to have feelings for someone who doesn't return them.

Also I wouldn't recommend talking to another girl so soon because you guys situation seems to be a result of both of your indecisiveness. So i would wait a span of 3-5 weeks just to see how things pan out between you guys before delving into another endeavor.

However being single for a little while isn't so horrible either, just learn to enjoy being by yourself. In all honesty when I learned to enjoy being by myself relationships became easier.
