Well actually, Sasuke's Rinnegan isn't entirely a watered down version of Kaguya's Rinne Sharingan. It's more like a complete stand alone Rinnegan in addition to watered down powers of Kaguya's Rinne Sharingan on top of that.

Makes me wonder where did he get the chakra. Obito needed a vast amount just to hop through 2 dimensions, and his eyes were blood shot doing so. So the question is, how many dimensions can Sasuke warp through?, does he need a specific amount of chakra? and how much downtime does it require.

The Rinnegan is Itachi's eye but in the end it's Sasuke's chakra powering it and Sasuke's skill controlling it

I've been thinking the same, I think he either used Naruto''s help or the made peace with the bijuu and used theirs. But then again, Obito didn't have the dojutsu to use Ameno he was lucky that Kamui was derived from it so it would have required more chakra for him like the Rinnegan did for Nagato.

Sasuke was also capable of summoning his hawk to the dimension by barely using any chakra and travelling through gates wouldn't be as difficult as shifting dimensions so I'm guessing the jutsu wouldn't require as much chakra for someone with the proper eye to use it.
