So now it's just black and white?

In more simplistic terms, Naruto and Sasuke have been paralleled to former Senju/Uchiha rivals. The rivals they have been paralleled to continued the fighting, they did not break the fighting.

What is this manga about? Ending the cycle. Neither the Senju nor the Uchiha will come out as "completely correct," because both have made mistakes in the past.

Well actually there is no black at all. Madara (and Obito till recently) essentially have a good goal - happiness of the people, no wars etc., they're just trying to achieve it the wrong way. The only true black character in the series was Orochimaru. He did everything for his own selfish reasons, had no soppy heartbreaking story as an explanation for his actions, he was just pure evil and kind of a refreshment in the sea of misunderstood, grey, emo typical manga/anime villains. Recently it looks like he has changed somehow, but I hope it's just a ruse, and he'll soon show his old, true colors.

It's not at all black and white, it's two complete different ways of looking at things.

Both brothers wanted peace, they're both aligned to the good side.

The difference is that of a say someone who believes negotiation can solve everything vs someone who believes it is necessary to have power as deterrence. Both are justifiable points of view.

I would wait until we hear the full story. Ashura wasn't used to power within a single human, so perhaps the Sage was expecting him to become a sort of dictator that Indra rebelled against. After all, Indra understands what effects such an imbalance of power could have on the world, meanwhile Ashura in his best benevolence, only sees what good could come of it.

This is what I'm expecting from Kishi, Idealism vs Realism. Much like Naruto believes trust with the Bijuu and the villages will lead to peace, Sasuke believes that eliminating the Bijuu from the balance of power will lead to peace. If it is simply black and white, I will be surprised and disappointed.

This is why Naruto and Sasuke have to be different. They have to fix the problems Indra created when he declared war on Ashura and attacked, causing a never ending feud between both sides. Hashirama's retaliation and almost murder of Madara is a clear sign that neither clan is in the right.

Neither Senju or Uchiha will come out at the end of this saying "I was right all along". That's the grey area, deciding how the Sage's son's reincarnations fix the problems created years ago. It just happens that Naruto's way is the correct way that's been handed down to him by Minato and Jiraiya. Only difference is, he has the power, knowledge, and love needed to actualize this dream.
