I wasn't telling you to follow any religion. I happen to think that almost all religions are pretty illogical, irrational, and even immoral.

My point was that you dislike hearing anything negative or critical about your religion. I say these things because your religion has a LOT of negative things about it and things that absolutely need to be questioned and criticized. I used to be a Catholic myself, and I'm glad I no longer am one. The fact that you can't tolerate any criticism at all makes me question why you would belong to such a group in the first place.

Yeah I didn't make this thread for atheist/agnostic/other religions to attack catholics, go to Reddit or make your own thread if you insist, I'm not a supporter of the church or the problems they bring but that's not the point right now.

If you're willing to call yourself the leader of such an organization, which in fact opperates all over the world, controlled by the vatican, I don't think there's a lot we need to know about this guy.

And we do know several facts about this man. He has been involved in some scandals in Argentina, and has a firm hatefull stance against homosexuality.

The point is effectively utilizing the money. If this man truly can bring about a change, let it be religious, I or anyone else shouldn't have any issues. But can he truly accomplish this?
