I mean, you could use the same argument for Sasuke as well. They both had kids around the same time, and nobody knows exactly when Kakashi stepped down as Hokage. Could have been recently and we know both Naruto and Sasuke would train if there's nothing else to do. A base Naruto's Shunshin looks on another level as a Hokage. How could he do that without training?
You can tell it was recently because:
- The Last Naruto was in his mid twenties because Bolt is around 6ish and Himawari looks 4.
- Kakashi's face is still on the monument
Chapter 700:
- Kakashi mentions that Naruto is a good successor, and he already packed. It would not make sense for him to pack a year later after stepping down XD
- Kiba mentions that the 6th stepped down
- Gokage meeting
Hell even Bolt treating his dad like shite, is probably due to his dad becoming different when he became Hokage. It probably happened that year.

Well, I see. My reason is that there isn't much positive evidence that actually supports that he won't or can't. Not only this, but his busy schedule isn't always set in stone.

His sister seems one or two years apart. Anyway, after Sasuke came back from his redemption journey, it makes no sense for him just to come back to make "Salad" and then to run off and find more wisdom. He probably came back and shared his wisdom with Naruto on the state of the world, and what he thought about the future.
He probably then decided (based on what Kishimoto stated), is to find more information on Kaguya, and Naruto right now is conducting a world peace method. Which seems highly plausible due to TenTen's statement: "The world is just too peaceful. How am I supposed to sell any weapons?"
So between the time Naruto became a father, he still had to wait to become Hokage, so that meant more training time.
So between the time Sasuke became a father, Sasuke had finished his journey, but he still had unfinished business with the Otsutsuki Clan so he had more training time.
It makes sense because Naruto (Light) is trying to stimulate the peace around the Globe of the Ninja world. How? We can't be sure yet, but we know him and Sasuke are working together. That was heavily implied in VOTE2/699
Sasuke (Dark) is dealing with the problem of future battles between Kaguya and the future of shinobi/ninja. With him in his prime, I SEE him having no difficulty with taking down Kaguya with Naruto's help (I feel as if Kaguya was nerfed a bit. She barely used her Rinnegan paths, but her Byakugan alone with S/T ... hack). Probably to either end her existence by finding a way to kill her, or to find a permanent way to seal her. For the safety of the future.
They must know that there will never be another Naruto/Sasuke again. Their power levels are just too high, unless Kurama goes into another, and Sasuke passes down his Rinnegan.
