Maybe you're right but still Kishimoto seemed to be preety tired of all this and begin a new project, I can't believe that he's willing to proceed for another how many years I don't know. Unless this time skip is only for 30 chapters or something in roder for him to give us some kind of closure. If that's the case then no problem.

Well if he wanted to he could take 1 year or so off. End the Mange before the Film is released, Film Release Japan, 1 Year off (during that Film Release all over the world to promote the next step of Naruto ;-).) Then we geht Part 3.

I was looking forward to see the manga end so that we can finally get the fourth databook. If a part three comes about, I hope it isn't going to be as long as Shippuuden but as long as part one Naruto.

I would like to see a part 3. However, I'm not liking the new Naruto look so much. I was hoping he would have grown his hair out to match his father's. To me, he looks like he is going to be a blonde version of Obito and possess 2 different outfits.

I would rather the movie be the standalone part 3, I really don't want to see post-godmode Naruto go on lame adventures for an entire series of part 3 :/ Naruto GT would be the absolute worst.

I would enjoy seeing the final phases/loose ends of the plot in this movie however, it would be interesting.

Personally, I think this is the most badass look Naruto has ever had also. Looks like I'm against the numbers on this one though Lol

The Naruto series right now is already in very bad critical condition. What makes you think Part 3 would make it better, when Naruto has already been going down to shit for a while in fact it would be even worse if this series is doing all milking process, won't do any good. All good things must come to end.

Umm, no. That is your opinion and many other people still love and enjoy the series. Just because you would feel like that for a part 3 doesn't mean anybody else would :|

Guys if there is a part 3, then that will be only shown in the movie. It's painly obviosu by now. Do you really think that Kishi really thinks of making a third part? A great mangaka knows wheh he should stop. He can't just start from the scratch. At the very least it should be like a spin-off so it won't destroy manga's quality in general.

Maybe he could switch genres and transition to a monthly magazine and part III could be a genre aimed for a slightly older demographic. That is, if the publisher is confident there are readers for it, since the series is already associated with children.

THIS! Naruto is way too childish in how he views the world, and becuase it's been such a huge factor in part 2, it really hurt the series as a whole.

The more I think about it, the more it seems like the movie will be an epilogue of sorts to give some closure. I mean why would they call the movie "The Last" if it's not the last movie? lol That would be false advertising >.>

For the people saying Naruto should end: why do you care if you don't like it? Don't say you want to see it have a proper ending because it still will. I chatted with Kishi today and he told me part 3 is already in production.

"The Last" doesn't necessarily have to mean "The Last Movie". Like Saiyan Island suggested, it could be referring to something specific within the movie. The Last jinchuuriki, The Last kage, the Last village, the Last incarnation, The Last war, The Last Uzumaki, The Last Mission, The Last battle, The Last of his promises he means to keep... It's still pretty ambiguous of a title.

It's sad that you try to excuse your complaining just because I noticed. I told you that I was finding you on every thread I went on complaining and whining about the series and Lo and behold I've found you once more being a little beep. It's not stalking, you just happen to complain on every thread. I'm not complaining, I'm just calling you out. Learn the difference

Everything will meet its end eventually so quit your worrying and relax. We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Then call it The Last Battle or The Last Uzumaki or The Last Mission or whatever. Why would you deliberately make it ambiguous, especially when it implies there's a different meaning?

Because Kishi may want to keep the entirety of the plot secret until closer to time. "The Last" doesn't even have to imply an end to anything, as suggested by AaaaNinja. It could simply be a working title that Kishi allowed to be presented during the announcement.

The title could also be a way to get a bigger audience. Keep the suspense going. More people might want to see it if they believe it is the ending especially if there is still a lot of loose ends. I enjoy the series, if there is a part 3, I will read it and I will continue to watch if the anime continues. I love manga and anime and read and watch many different ones. Most of them have both good and bad points. No writer can please everyone all of the time. If it was that easy to do everyone would be doing it.
