What do you think of Naruto's mindset involving Obito?

Here is the thing - compensation doesn't always equate punishment. I am assuming it?
Obviously in the context of the statement it's = to punishment. And yes, your stance makes it absolutely necessary for you to assume that Naruto and Minato wanted Obito to get off scott free.

It's what the seat represents and the ideals it supports. Naruto is selfish, and that term expands into something beyond what you highlighted. Any ideology you have, or you support, automatically makes it a product of what your self covets. It means whatever you are doing it is to satisfy the self.
On what do you base the bolded on? And it doesn't even matter, it's only a selfish decision if Naruto is doing it for himself. If he's doing it for everyone else, it's not a selfish decision regardless of what people perceive the seat as representing.

And we've already been over the last part, it's completely irrelevant as whether or not you like the idea, came up with it, or feel satisfied by it is irrelevant to whether it's a selfish idea or not as a selfish idea is one that puts one's self above others. And that's by the literal definition of selfish.

So the only way you'd be right is if you make up your own twisted definition for what selfish is, a definition that would make every single action anyone could possibly ever take selfish regardless of how benevolent or how much one puts others before themselves.

An assumption.

Really? So, supporting Konoha is not supporting a particular lobby? Exactly. Stop being puerile, as everyone is selfish at the end of the day. This notion of Selfless is a myth. No one is a hermit. I didn't create any definitions. It's you who doesn't understand the connotations and actual root-words. Take out less or fish, and Self is left. Both words add suffixes to create new connotations, but at the root, they are still connected to Self.

Maybe I am pushing this logic with you, as it seems as if it's not getting through to you.

Simple minded priest with the ideals that are equivalent to a fairy tail.

Nah, I think I do. Nothing too hard or complex to understand about this selfish character.
They are only a fairy tail because they seem unreasonable to people who don't want to forgive. Doesn't help that we are raised in a world where retaliation is a norm. And if he was selfish he wouldn't of been protecting the whole world from their free will being taken over.

You could say he is a rather simple minded priest/monk, one that only wants to "selfishly" improve the lives of people around him. One that doesn't focus on the past because that's over with already, it's not changeable, but rather tries to create a better future with the present moment he is given.

We are obviously set in our ways though. You may say what you need to say.

Naruto has always been like that he doesn't hold grudges with all the enemies he fights either he tries to reform them or he simply crushes them and then moves on his path is straight and true without any regrets he did the same thing with Nagato he didn't forgive him he allowed himself to understand him and changed him in the process which probably feels pretty good to Naruto

Naruto didn't say obito cool for what he done in the past, but he say obito cool for what he just done for the future.
No, he said he was cool because he wanted to be hokage.

Nagato revived the village though and Naruto was not wanking him.

Nope. ONLY supporting konoha is supporting ONLY a particular lobby. Naruto can support Konoha and all the other villages as Hokage, he's just not going to be in charge of all of them.

Stop being puerile, as everyone is selfish at the end of the day. This notion of Selfless is a myth. No one is a hermit. I didn't create any definitions. The bolded is simply an assertion on your part, and I've handily refuted the reasoning for that assertion.

It's actually YOU who doesn't understand the connotations and actual root-words. The negative connotations of "selfish" is ONLY thinking about or valuing oneself, and that's obviously not true. I don't see why the word having 'self' in there means that as long as you think about self or it involves self, then one is selfish.

Maybe I am pushing this logic with you, as it seems as if it's not getting through to you.
No i understand your logic, it's just that it requires you to ignore the actual definition of the word 'selfish'. You ignore the actual definition, make up your own definition, yet use your definition in order to apply the negative connotations of the actual definition to people that the definition wouldn't apply to.

People who think that settling hatred with more hatred is the right thing to do are stupid. Naruto has more guts and forgiveness than everyone, to be able to forgive someone who murdered your parents and nearly murdered you... now that shows that Naruto is probably the strongest character in manga. What did Naruto haters expect him to do when Obito died? Say that Obito was an idiot for what he did in the past? Unlike the idiotic haters in this base, Naruto knows that the past is the past and to just move on. If everyone was more like Naruto, the world wouldn't be as shitty as it is now. People who say Naruto is unrealistic just dislikes him because they know that people such as them can never amount to someone as awesome as Naruto.

Really, he can support other villages? How? This is something I gotta hear.

No, you haven't. You cling onto dictionary meanings, when anyone with a slight bit of knowledge in this field knows that many meanings do not convey the 'Sense' of the word. There is a whole debate on prescriptivists and descriptivists as well. Don't bite off more than you can chew. Naruto is selfish and so are the rest of the characters on the simple notion that he follows his own ideology and disregard for the ideology of many others and vice versa.

With naruto's hatred, he got a massive powerup last chapter and chopped kaguya up. It's something that sasky needs to learn from naruto to get a much stronger powerup Lol

If more people were like Naruto then crimes would go unpunished because even the worst criminals would get away if they say they're sorry.

There's a difference between fantasy and reality, characters like Naruto belong to the former. The world doesn't work the way Naruto thinks it does, there will always be hatred and suffering because of the simple fact humans exist.

Naruto is not forgiving and understanding in right senses, i am yet to see him accepting other people"s thoughts before they are converted. "You are wrong i am right punch/rasengan to the face you changed now it is all good" is not understanding someone. Everyone had to come down to his own ways how is that understanding?

I say it before and i will say it again even though it comes out be harsh: Naruto is like Stalin. He beats people until they say what he wants them to say. Soon characters say stuff like "I believe it. My father believed it too."
