[Discussion] So Kurapika > Phantom Troupe 1v1 right?

I mean that was established in the manga correct? When Kurapika captured Uvo they said something like if it works on you it'll work on the others, so do you guys think this should be credit enough that Kurapika can win a 1v1 against any Troupe members or is this another time when a character speaks out of place like Killua saying he would have killed Netero if he had continued trying to get the ball from him on the airship?

Definitely all excluding Chrollo, Feitan and maybe Phinks. Those 3 im not so sure about seeing as how they're the top dogs. Remember Kurapika's chain still has to hit in order for Chain Jail to work, Chrollo can potentially teleport Kurapika within range and its gg. Feitan can definitely avoid Chain Jail and perhaps deliver a fatal strike seeing as how he's the fastest Troupe member by far, not to mention Kurapika barely kept up with Uvo's speed, I mean he definitely didn't speedblitz Uvo that's for sure, and Phinks is a maybe.

Edit: Also can't forget that Chrollo managed to evade both Zeno and Silva's attacks with no intent to kill whatsoever. If Chrollo's serious I can't see how Kurapika would be able to win a fair 1v1.

He needs chain jail to capture the other members and since they already know about his chains, it will be harder for him to fight them. the only reason he beat Uvogin so easily is because no one knew of his chains abilities yet.

Even though Chrollo is stronger than Feitan, I think Feitan will be a lot more difficult to take out than Chrollo because of how rising sun works. Unless Chrollo stole a nen ability that's better than rising sun, which is also likely. Chrollo & Feitan are the biggest obstacle and if my theory about Chrollo being one of the top 5 nen users then no way Kurapika is beating him yet. It's possible since Togashi said he's a fan of Chrollo.

You should have followed Kurapika's reasoning. And you will understand. Kurapika basically used UVO as a test subject to make sure if his powers could take down the rest of the Phantom troupe.

I agree with this. I don't see him beating Chrollo or Feitan in a straight up 1v1, as you said, Phinks is a maybe. The rest however i think he should manage to beat.

Not the top three strongest, but the rest are a sure bet, the whole premise of Kurapika's power is to defeat the Phantom Troupe.
That and he is a main character, he is bound to get it a good kill on them.

Kurapika is a guy who would be the underdog and have a hard time fighting mid tier nen users like Kastro but he is without a doubt the spiders worst match-up. Both chain jail and judgement chain are hard to deal with and then he has the Emperor eye, he can use that shit now for a long time as seen in the latest chapters. Uvogin wasn't weak or stupid, he was simply out classed by Kurapika.

The truth is that the spiders, yes even Chrollo and Feitan, will be the underdog in this fight. So yeah Kurapika is probably going to win in a 1 on 1 fight, thats why Chrollo was making sure they move in groups.

So a mid tier like Kastro can take 100% Uvogin's Big Bang Impact with only a broken arm? I don't think so. That's Yorknew City Arc Kurapika. I'm pretty sure Current Kurapika is a lot stronger.

This is my scaling for the Phantom Troupe.

Kuroro > Feitan > Phinks > Nobunaga > Franklin > Uvogin > Machi > Bonolenov > Shalnark > Shizuku > Pakunoda > Korotopi.

Kurapika defeated Uvogin back in the Yorknew City Arc. I think he'd be tied with someone like Franklin. He'd be beaten by the top 4 of course.

Current Kurapika should be extremely strong, and with his Chain Jail, he could potentially beat all of them.

Bonolenov is not underrated, and the speed of sound isn't hard to beat at all. Hunter Exams Killua have shown speed at the least close to the speed of sound with his movement speed.
