Then first show me where Gai is stated to be the first gates user. Because Hashirama CREATED Mokuton. Because only person you can relate to Gai is Yamato if you want to use Mokuton as an example.

Also Hashirama is the first person (Naruto timeline wise) to use Sage Mode. While Gai obviously wan't..


But the fact you want to bring up Hashirama out of all the characters.. is implying you believe Gai is on that level.. Which in itself is just crazy..

The fact there have been previous gates user, and haven't been hyped in the manga at all. Should tell us that gates users aren't in the top 10.. Hell Even gai himself hasn't been hyped in any way..
