Varies based upon martial arts the essential principle is to release force through expression. That's why you have mich variance in the sounds made. Its all to do with breathing and there exists no fixed utterance.

neither was the originator of the term a martial artist when she was a kid

The words aren't important it's the strong release of air however it's done (excluding back passage).. through sounds or through breathing or even words. Sarada being a martial artist is irrelevant. Just as Goku and the end universe they scream.

again the origin of the word came from a kid that wasn't a martial artist and had a family with no ninja background

also releasing and making sounds might make sense in terms of combat but SHANAROO is used like dattebasa and dattebayo in other forms of communications that are not combat

like a slur, accent habit

also the term translates in Viz as "OH Yeah"

"OH" first requires and inhale then a exhale followed by just a yeah that is just a exhale

Also this catchphrase existed before Sarada or Sakura learnt CES

Sarada as a child saying it in chapter 700

Wow this is really in depth

Shannaro
This is a Japanese slang that does not get used in everyday language but is instead (very rarely) found in manga/anime. It is a corruption of joudan ja nai yo (ε†—θ«‡γ˜γ‚ƒγͺγ„γ‚ˆ) which is a colloquial term literally meaning "this is not a joke" and can be loosely interpreted as: "stop kidding around", "don't fool yourself", "stop messing around", "you got to be kidding me", "yeah, right".

A character by the name of Sakura Haruno (ζ˜₯ι‡Ž ァクラ) in Naruto uses this a lot and many people attribute the usage of this term to the manga series. Since the word is corrupted (noted with personal accentuation), so has the meaning within certain contexts in Naruto, which defines or embodies an emotion or expression of an adrenaline rush or great excitement: "hell yeah" and "f~ yeah" is a common fansub translation.

It is commonly mistranslated as "what the f~" or "hell no" because the term was never used in that manner (given the context of a situation) and was never used as a pejorative (a handful of fansubs have taken this term to the extreme)

thanks man

An adrenaline rush kind of explains Sakura and also Salamander's statement

it also explains why Naruto doesn't shout out dattebayo every time he attacks someone in combat

Oh and yeah don't require an inhale and an exhale where'd you get that from especially if it's to add power. Take it to mean you just got stomped oh yeah for empasis if that's how you view it.
As for Sarada being a martial artist it's irrelevant since she clearly uses thai jutsu. And isn't going to be a carbok copy of other characters.

"OH YEAH!"

Or is this something new for just Sarada?

sometimes it gets shortened to just "YEAH!"

idk seeing its official translation it just seems out of character for the academy less talk Sarada we saw.

Also Sakura herself used Shannaro on numerous ocassion... does that just mean all that time she was screaming

So when Sarada waa saying borutos so shanaroo

She was really saying borutos so oh yeah:lol

Shanaro literally has no translation. It can mean whatever you want it to be Hell yeah, Oh Yeah or even Cha like in thr English dub. So no it isn't officially translated as oh yeah they should have kept it as it was in Japanese

Also how does that even pass genetically lol

Sarada was raised by Sakura so it makes sense...

Boruto grew up with Naruto

Naruto didn't grow up with Kushina

Naruto had kushina chakra in him, baby's so pick up things from mom when they are in the womb, and Kurama probably provided latent memory's of kushina
