SS isn't needed for for Nagato or Gai honestly.

He gets beaten by all and defeats nagato (who is'nt a rikudou enhanced character) he does'nt have rikudou chakra flowing through his body cuz he was not the one who awakened it in otherwords he does'nt have the indra power in him, the only rikudou chakra he has is in the eyes, and his body can NOT use the rinnegan to the max cuz his body is'nt meant to handle it

Gai easily kills Hashirama. Nonetheless, he would also die because 8 Gates causes the user's body to deteriorate.
