Eh, I didn't really know where to put this, so yeah, here.
So, I've been fiddling around with creating my own system for a Naruto role-play, but I'm having some sort of 'writers-block'.
I could use some advice and comments.
The only thing I really have definitively written down is the chakra-system, which is kinda simple, but I really like the concept of it.
Tell me what you think, eh?

Is this to be used as a suggestion for NB, or are you going to implement it else where? I'll look into it later on and post what I can if it's the first option.

The idea itself seems sound enough - I'm fairly certain I understand it. It allows you to fight like you want, rather than seeing Nukes thrown around.

I wont say I understand it all, but I understand the gist.

Selfish question, though: it still seems very reliant on actually USING Jutsu; do you think your system would be as hostile to a close-range freeformer as the current.

I'm interested, to say the least, regardless. Just would like to learn a bit more.

NB has a big and active role-play, so it'd definitely be an option, but I'm honestly just fiddling around with this <.<

There are forums which do this type of thing. Narutobase is more of a learning place for people who know nothing about RP'ing.
If you know any of those forums, do give me the link over a PM, I'd appreciate it.

This is still very much in the development-stage, but one of the things I really want to do is to make it attractive to have a small chakra capacity, sacrificing size for control.
Honestly, I wrote two walls-o-text but deleted them both, but thinking made me realise that I'll need some sort of unit-display in my technique template .-.
I'll work on it, thanks.
To answer you rquestion, I really want to make creativity and uniqueness as rewarding as I can, meaning that Kenjutsu-enthusiasts, for example, will not have any handicap, nor will the Samurai nor will the DNA-enhanced Juugo-ish character who is a Blood-element user .-. Creaticity will be the key. I abhor standardization, customization is the only way to retain those 2009 days you'll hear all the senior role-players talk about. The trick is to leave as many routes as possible open, while making the rules so that those who choose less-used routes will be on the same level as the more developed routes.
Gold-dust users on here are a good example. It would've been a thousand times easier for them to choose another KG, and the techniques they made here in 12 or 11 aren't nearly as powerful (don't get me wrong when I say powerful) as, for example, the old Kaguya techniques.
I'm ranting and my English is abysmal, sorry :p
