It is possible that Kishimoto's assistant lied about Karin having nothing to do with Sarada or it could be just Kishimoto creating more drama, its hard to say.

I honestly see Kishi turning it around in the next chapter. Unless SS aren't married yet and this will be what pulls them together and makes them have a wedding in the end of this mini-series. Kishi is a bit soft, so I could totally see Sakura being her mom, but it's also plausible for Karin. I am 50/50 at this point.

No, it would mean he was with Karin before he dated Sakura. And if that's the case she would have no ill will for a dead woman.

Sakura is a gentle person and Sasuke obviously can't raise a kid. Plus..How many times has Sakura given in to Sasuke instead of being firm. And as for assuming Karin is dead..If Sarada is her kid then OBVIOUSLY she is dead. NO WAY would Karin leave her baby if she was ALIVE. If Karin is alive then no way in hell is she Karin's. And if she is alive AND Karin is the mother, then that is the worst writing ever. And OBVIOUSLY Sasuke is a douche bag. TWELVE years! There is NO excuse for that. Leaving your child and (maybe) wife for 12 years in inexcusable. I think that Sasuke and Sakura will marry in this mini-series and Sarada will be the plot device that brings them together for real and not just in a hazy way.

Sigh, nothing has been confirmed yet people forgot that 90% of theories were never came true except the Tobi->Obito and Minato is Naruto's father, thought both of them needed massive retcon tsunamis to make them believable.

I suggest to wait till the next 3 chapters.
