[Discussion] So how many of you dislike Choji?

Just curious after this last chapter. He is basically choking up during this war. He can't hack it. This is the second time he cried. Bad enough for him, but he is going to get Shika and Ino killed now with his stupidity. Shika and Ino probably could have taken out Asuma in a few minutes without Choji there.

I never really cared about Choji, but now I kind of dislike him with the way he is acting. Hinata of all people shows great courage. Even Tenten didn't act scared. I hope Kishi doesn't make him a hero now, but as long as he does, he should die doing it.

Kishi has to show that screwing up in war and acting scared gets you killed.

I dont dislike him, in Naruto he was the one of the two from the leaf to stop one of the sound five by himself. But I do think he needs to suck it up and grow some, and do what he has to do to put his sensi back to rest. Dont think they will kill him off though.

Yeah some people fight with emotion to make them stronger, look what happened to that sound ninja when Chouji got choked up over a little name calling directed at Shika.

Jus think how bad he'll flip out when he comes to grip with reality and realizes his former techer is being used as a puppet.

Choji is a great disappointment. He was using Barry Bonds enhancing pills (supercharged chakra pills). Without this little boost, he was toast.

So i would have to say, it would be a nice twist in the storyline if he was killed by Asuma.

Maybe then somehow by killing Choji Asuma's soul may be released by severe heartbreak. (Not possible but would be interesting)

Oh yea, one more thing. Maybe Asuma will start calling Choji fat to get him angry.:flaw:

I still like him. There is no good reason to dislike him. All you guys and girls would never destroy your sensei who was there for you through the happy and sad times. He taught you everything you know. That would be hard to do even for someone like Kakashi. If he went against Minato he probably would be shock.

i dont dislike choji there is nothing wrong with him. he is just very emotional when it comes to fighting the man that taught him everything he knows about being a ninja. its more of a respect thing he has for asuma. but i have a feeling asuma may end up killing choji.

Being emotional is fine. Being emotional to the point where you can get you teammates killed is not fine! Then you become a liability and should leave the field of battle.

Asuma was like a second father to Shikamaru. Shikamaru is a lot closer to Asuma than Choji ever was. There was a whole arc about Asuma and Shikamaru's relationship. Yet we don't see him freaking out having to take out Asuma. Just Choji.
