No you are ignoring my main point. Even if you give Ikemoto years to perfect his art it will never match Kishi's because there art style is totally different.
Now to my main point. His art would never be an issue if he was busy starting his own series. This series although it's title something different is still a continuation of already created series. If you wanna really compare Kishi and Ikemoto than do it when Ikemoto makes his own original series.
I guess your problem here is not the series itself it is the fact that WSJ is conintueing the series with a different author
Kishi retired from Naruto. He no longer feels like continuing it even more. WSJ wants money and continued the series for more revenue.
Rather instead of getting down and hoping for the return of Kishi you should just focus your manga time mostly on other series that are 100% better then Naruto.
