I'm not really sure how he can survive that, I'm pretty sure that was the original since Obito said he can't sense the original anymore and Naruto said a clone can't stay there. He might survive due to his truth seeking balls thing, some bijuu power, or maybe he was rescued by Sasuke or Minato using teleportation (highly unlikely though).
