So can Sasuke's Susanoo really fly?

He seemed pretty dependent on his Hawk. Wouldn't a flying Susanoo have been better since it could pronably protect from lava as well as fly.

I personally believe his Susanoo just falls (with style)/glides but can't actually fly. Against Madara he was definitely leaping from rock or rock.

As far as I can tell, he summoned the hawk because it was a lot faster than activating and stabilizing susano'o. Whhen the hawk was hit, he almost fell into the lava but still couldn't fully activate susano'o in time, which confirms what i previously stated.

Anyway, he's defo not gliding. There's no floor to jump from yet he was above kaguya. He flew up. What had me like wtf was naruto flying. I was like "this mother****er coudl really fly all this time and he here wasting time on the ground!" XD

oh yeah? then why did sasuke say "im gonna use susanoo" and still fall towards the lava forcing naruto to save him. if he could use suanoo that fast this would have not happened. itachi and sasuke are two different ninjas

That's a dumb post. Itachi brought out an incomplete/complete susanoo in an instant. However, it actually takes a little time to stabilize the final susanoo.(as shown when Madara used it against the gokage) Only sasuke's stabilized susanoo can fly, not the lower versions which can be brought out instantly. Also, inspite of the whole EMS thing, it's clear that using PS takes more chakra than summoning a hawk.......

Mei's lava is infused with chakra so I assumed that it'd be hotter, since this is just natural lava.
