So it seems that Madara recruited Obito. Now I don't quite understand, if Madara did it while in some death dimension or he just fixed obito.
Now Itachi said that Tobi was Madara. And I can't imagine Itachi being wrong about anything.
So was Itachi referring to be Tobi representing Madara? That he knew Tobi(obito) wasn't really Madara but knew that Tobi worked for him?
Because maybe since it seemed Madara survived that he went out and recruited young uchiha to try and fight for his cause.
Now my theory is that Madara tried to do the same thing with Itachi. However Itachi refused to follow Madara's idealism. Thats why when Sasuke asked Itachi who helped him kill the uchiha clan, Itachi said Madara but was really referring to a person (obito), who was under Madara's control.
Idk, it just always bugged me that, itachi would be wrong about anything since he's the master troll badass, so when he says Madara's tobi, he just means the tobi(obito) or nameless, is the embodiment of Madara's ideals.
