Taking the scroll, Kaubto placed it in an empty pouch behind himself before reaching out his arm to receive the snake tattoo.
Thank you... sensei. It looks very much like Master Orochimaru's...

Yeah, I have a question. These snakes, are the restricted to a specific type of snake? Or can I summon a giant cobra, a giant anaconda, a giant viper, etc. And each giant snake shares characteristics of it's parent sub-species. ie. One giant snake would be good at constricting, while one would have venomous fangs, while another would have a rattle on its tail... etc. etc. All from the same jutsu.

Can I use it like that? Or are all the giant snakes the same appearance as the one in the picture, with the only variety being size?

Unfortunately with this jutsu imo it's the latter. You can though submit those kinds of snakes as customs.

I think there's a default turn restriction for 4 turns for every kind of summon. I'm sure Scorps will update it soon.

(Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Manda) - Summoning Technique: Manda
Rank: Forbidden Rank
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 50
Damage points: N/A (-10 to user upon summoning)
Description:
Manda is a gigantic, 100 meter long snake who serves as the "leader" of all snakes. Fierce and aggressive, Manda is a shrewd warrior. To summon Manda, the user takes a big gamble, as he can easily turn on its summoner if he so deems it. Not only that, but the sacrifice and the amount of chakra needed damages the user, making summoning Manda a forbidden act. Manda has some unique abilities. Extremely fast and strong, his tail acts as a sharp mace that he can fling at the enemies with ease, speed and tremendous power (capable of overcoming even A-Rank defenses). Manda is also capable of using his chakra for 2 unique techniques: he can borrow underground (even if its affected by up to A-Rank techniques), tunneling through the earth at enormous speed or shed his skin, using a sort of substitution technique, where he trades places with his shed skin. While underground, Manda can sense the vibrations through the earth and pinpoint the location of his enemy. While completely immune to techniques A-Rank and below, Manda can take one S-Rank attack and survive by shedding his skins afterwards, although this can only be done once.
Note: requires snake contract
Note: can only be summoned once

you know how the Manda looks like. Any Questions?

So about the substitution technique... although it says he can trade places and survive up to S-rank attacks, but what about attacks that impede or stop movement? Like how I used Super Added Weight in your SM test, he can't sub out of that one right? Same as if I trapped him with pillars or in some sort of cage with a CJ.

Personally, I think Added Weight is a bad example because when he sheds his skin, it can be said that the skin he shed is what was increased in weight, if timed correctly. And if there's something anyone on NB can do, it's time everything perfectly. <.<

But yeah, if he's completely trapped I don't think he'd be able to sub out of it as it would be a close-range sub, using it to avoid pin-point strikes (or large strikes which appear pin-point to such a large summon); more like a very short body flicker than a true sub. Though I don't think you could even use sub to escape being trapped or having restricted movement, as well as the technique isn't harming so what's the point?

EDIT: *Becomes the new instructor of this lesson.*

This is tricky, because I actually was thinking of using it in my test when you did that lightning technique anyway. Manda was literally at point blank range when he subbed from the Toad Oil Flame bullet thingy. After the fire hit him all that was left was his skint that he'd shed off. Then he came from the ground somehow. Imo cages and what not if worded correctly won't stop it. Added weight i'm not too sure obviously xD since I didn't do it in the test. I'll ask around on this one.

any questions?

For these I just want you to perform them. Pretty much all are self explanatory.

(Senei Jashu) - Hidden Shadow Snake Hands
Rank: C
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: Senei Jashu is a Ninjutsu technique that manifests a snake, which extends from the sleeve. The ninja can extend these snakes to attack a target. Once extended the snake can bite into the target to hold and bind them.
Note: Must be able to summon snakes

Alright pretty simple, I want you to manifest a snake, one snake from your sleeve and send it at your partner. If you both do it right, the snakes will hit each other and no one gets hurt. If not, one of you is going to have a bad day. In a fight once you catch your opponent, the snake will bite into them and bind them in place.

---------------

(Senei Ta Jashu) - Multiple Hidden Shadow Snake Hands
Rank:B
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:20
Damage Points:N/A
Description: Senei Jashu is a Ninjutsu technique that manifests a torrent of snakes, which extend from the sleeve. The ninja can extend these snakes to attack a target. Once extended the snake can bite into the target to hold and bind them.
Note:Must be able to summon snakes

So, instead of just one snake I want you to focus more chakra and manifest a torrent of snakes. From your sleeve again, have the snakes extend around the tree behind each of you. One snake will bite the tree and the rest will will wrap around it. In a battle it'll bite your opponent and the rest will bind him.

That was pretty last-second. Awesome. Also, if we were to do that in the RP, I assume that would also take up the going under ground move thing, right?

"Manifest", what a weird term...

Forming the two handseals, snake and tiger, Kabuto focused his chakra about about his shoulder, trying to do the same thing he did with summonings without the blood and specific handseals. Feeling a small weight on his shoulder, Kabuto thrust his right first outwards, the snake he summoned winding around his arm until it flew off of his fist, flying through the air towards my partner. As Kabuto's snake neared his partner's snake, Kabuto grinned deviously as his snake lifted its head, bringing its body above his partner's snake before starting to wrap around it. After making one full rotation, Kabuto's snake stopped wrapping around and bit his partner's snake, injecting it with its poison.
Excellent...
Kabuto pushed up his glasses.
Now, about these snakes... What genus are they? I mean, the great Titanoboa would have made sense, considering that they were the largest snake ever, measuring at anywhere from 40 to 50 feet long, but they were also the heaviest, making it difficult to use techniques such as this with them. Is there really any exact genus, or are they just really long snakes, as their tail are never seen emerging from the user's clothing.
Additionally, I have seen Lord Orochimaru summon a Sword of Kusanagi from the mouths of the snakes summoned via this method; are we capable of doing this?

Focusing chakra onto his shoulder, and this time using much more than the first technique, Kabuto recreated, as best he could, the conditions under which he could summon a snake, until at last he could feel the multitude of scaly bodies against and around his shoulder. Pushing up his glasses with his left hand to a point where they reflected the tree behind him onto his eyes, Kaubto allowed the snakes to slither out of his right sleeve before quickly launching towards the tree without Kabuto turning around. With mental commands, Kabuto coaxed the inner-most snake to bite the tree's bark while the other snakes wrapped around the trunk in an attempt to squeeze it to death, much like it would its prey in the wild. Kabuto then fully pushed his glasses up on his face.
A very good technique, building upon the previous jutsu. Not much else to say or ask aside from what I've already asked about its parent technique.

I form two hand seals, and extend my left hand forward. From my long sleeve, a thick snake emerges. It bursts forth from the sleeve, traveling along the ground as it opens its mouth. It meets the incoming snake head on, wrapping around it as well and then proceeds to bite it.

___

I perform the other random hand seals, and then a large torrent of snakes emerge from my sleeve. The snakes extend their bodies through the air, and then proceed to wrap around a nearby tree. All of the snakes except for one wrap around the tree, while the solitary snake sinks its fangs into the tough bark.
