Prolly all the cj's we've taught back and forth made it seem like more xD
Snake summons are from the Ryuuchi Cave, the place where one can also learn Sage Mode, from great White Snake Sage, and the main ingredient for Snake Ninjutsu. The main users shown in the NV are Oro, Sasuke, Kabito, and Anko, with Oro seemingly the most proficient with the most variations I can recall, Sasuke a close 2nd. Manda was Oro's main summons, used once by Sasuke being sacrificed to survive that huge Deidara blast. Manda 2 was an enhanced variation of Manda created by Kabuto. Snakes have been shown being many different sizes, from very small to extremely large, and can be used to trace the objects based upon heat and smell. Most of them cannot communicate, unlike Manda.

Vegeta does the seals for the summoning technique while molding chakra, biting into his bottom lip drawing blood on his snake tattoo summoning a hand full of small Gardner snakes. As they run off, he does the same seals for the summoning molding even more chakra and using the same blood from the bite on the tat, and a larger snake the size of a python appears, turning and seemingly looking Vegeta in the eyes as it's tongues whips in and out, feeling Vegeta out before poofing away. Vegeta then molding lots and lots of chakra, more so than before, really going for it, he performs the seals for the summoning technique, releasing the chakra as the blood smears across the tattoo again, and a large snake 51 meters in length appears in a cloud of smoke, raising it's massive tail up and slamming the ground before leaning right in towards Vegeta, right up to his face where he eyeballs it, letting it know who's boss. Vegeta then tries once more, molding even more chakra than before, performing the same seals he bites down giving the seal fresh blood, releasing the molded chakra as a ginormous 100 meter long snake poofs into existence, it's mere presence being awe inspiring as it bares it's massive fangs, slamming it's huge tail a few times and shooting Vegeta a snide look, before also poofing away. Vegeta, exhausted from using so much chakra over and over, takes a rest and grabs some water, before coming back over to Korra...

Not only that, but the sacrifice and the amount of chakra needed damages the user, making summoning Manda a forbidden act. Manda has some unique abilities. Extremely fast and strong, his tail acts as a sharp mace that he can fling at the enemies with ease, speed and tremendous power (capable of overcoming even A-Rank defenses). Manda is also capable of using his chakra for 2 unique techniques: he can borrow underground (even if its affected by up to A-Rank techniques), tunneling through the earth at enormous speed or shed his skin, using a sort of substitution technique, where he trades places with his shed skin. While underground, Manda can sense the vibrations through the earth and pinpoint the location of his enemy. While completely immune to techniques A-Rank and below, Manda can take one S-Rank attack and survive by shedding his skins afterwards, although this can only be done once.

This is a great and simply binding jutsu tho its strong variant is probably the jutsu you are gonna wanna use instead.

As the clone approaches, I mold my chakra biting my lips getting blood on my summoning tattoo (does we do this even for these kinds of snakes?) and summon a small snake from my sleeve, the snake extends quickly, biting into the clones shoulder and begins to wrap it up. Holding onto the tail, as the snake begins to coil Vegeta uses it to bring him quickly towards the clone sorta like Scorpion, and punches the clone once in range making it poof away...
