Snakes are generally one of the two most popular Canon Summoning Contracts on NB (Besides Toads). In Naruto, we've usually only seen Antagonists summon Snakes for example Orochimaru, Kabuto and Sasuke with Anko being the sole exception. The most popular Snake Summons include Manda, Manda II, Aoda and the Three-headed Snake.

Both in Naruto and in NB, Snakes are cold-blooded predatory animals that utilize their venomous fangs to capture their prey. They are capable of sensing through minute vibrations with their skin both on the ground and faint ones in the air. They have a keen sense of smell which they utilize via the use of their forked tongues to taste the air and send info to the necessary organs for compilation. Most importantly, with the use of their infrared sensitivity, they're able to "see" the radiated heat of warm blooded animals.

Eyesight: Snake vision varies greatly, from only being able to distinguish light from dark to keen eyesight, but the main trend is that their vision is adequate although not sharp, and allows them to track movements.
Infrared sensitivity: The user will have infrared-sensitive receptors in deep grooves on the snout, which allow them to "see" the radiated heat of warm-blooded prey mammals.
Vibration sensitivity: The part of the body in direct contact with the ground is very sensitive to vibration; thus, the snake can sense other animals approaching by detecting faint vibrations in the air and on the ground.

2) Their scales can be sued for defensive purpose protecting you and you could create cjs using them. The scales could also be shed so that the snakes wont take full damage (if the summon abilitiy ahs that)

3) You can create cjs that use snakes coming out of your body or having snakes being summoned which the ones out of the body are faster.

5) Snakes are shown to use venom in the manga and can be used on the base. To have a snake with a generic venom you gotta submit as a cj while any kind of special venom you have to be a med nin.

Crocodile moved his hand towards his face, and proceeded to slightly open his mouth in preparation for the signing of the scroll. Once he had properly positioned his thumb inbetween his teeth, he bit it; causing his thumb to draw blood. Almost immediately, he wiped the blood over the scroll, writing his name.

Do the summoning hand seals and wipe blood on your tattoo and summon a small snake. Keep doing it again and again till you summon a 100 meter long snake U:U Very basic snake you could do what Sasuke did to Manda and use this for scarfice to protect yourself xD This snake doesnt have any poison so dont expect to be poison people.

Keen on proving himself worthy of possessing the Snake Summoning Contract, Crocodile repeated the process once again and this time, he summoned a 50m long snake. It was much more satisfying this time as he was indeed getter better. Therefore, he performed the summoning ritual one last time and at last, he summoned a 100m long snake. [/FONT]

Basically summon a double headed snake that is kinda small but bigger than you. This was the summoning used by one of Hiruko's henchmen in a Naruto movie. This snake is needed for a snake ninjutsu you will learn in the future. This snake is more of a speed and strike than a giant and blunt damage snake and can be slippery to catch. Let me ask you besides the one jutsu how would you use this snake yourself?

I think I could utilize this serpent to immobilize and restrict my opponents. Basically, have the snake bind the target in place.

The user will summon a generic, 70 meter long Three Headed Giant Snake. These snakes vary in appearance and size and serve only as basic warriors, having only the normal characteristics of snakes. Although they are quite simple snakes, they are very enduring and resistant and they can take up to B-Rank damage.

Note: can only be summoned once

Doing the same process imagine summoning a 70 meter snake that has 3 heads. Once summon have it destroy some of the trees in this forest. This was the snake the Suna/Sound nin summoned against the Leaf before it was stop by Jiriya. Its like the last one but 1 additional head and is bigger and could do more damage to a bigger area. This can take up to B rank jutsu. Why would you use this snake verse the generic snake summon?

Well, generally speaking, because the snake has three heads.. it is more useful. For example, one head could be used to immobilize an opponent's summoning animal. Another head could be used to attack whilst the third could stay back to remain defensive. In contrast, you've to pick one of the three in case of a generic snake

To summon Manda, the user takes a big gamble, as he can easily turn on its summoner if he so deems it. Not only that, but the sacrifice and the amount of chakra needed damages the user, making summoning Manda a forbidden act. Manda has some unique abilities. Extremely fast and strong, his tail acts as a sharp mace that he can fling at the enemies with ease, speed and tremendous power (capable of overcoming even A-Rank defenses). Manda is also capable of using his chakra for 2 unique techniques: he can borrow underground (even if its affected by up to A-Rank techniques), tunneling through the earth at enormous speed or shed his skin, using a sort of substitution technique, where he trades places with his shed skin. While underground, Manda can sense the vibrations through the earth and pinpoint the location of his enemy. While completely immune to techniques A-Rank and below, Manda can take one S-Rank attack and survive by shedding his skins afterwards, although this can only be done once.

Thats why I'm happy I learn Snake Sage Mode gives you rep in the snake world Try and not to get eaten ^^ He comes with two unique abilities which the other cannon snakes dont give you. I want you analyze them and tell me situations you want to use them in. Also why would you use Manda over the snakes and why would you use other snake and not Manda?

Well, the two unique abilities of Manda are his shedding and digging abilities. I would personally use the former if I am left incapable of defending against an incoming technique. As for the latter, I would use it against techniques like Swamp of the Underworld

Well, I would use Manda.. cause he's just great lmao. He's immune to any technique below A Rank and can survive an S Rank from point blank range. There are numerous scenarios where he could be useful.. however, there are some issues too. For example, you can summon him only once and it costs quite a lot of chakra so I wouldn't just summon him for any task. In case of any minor issue, I would generally use other snakes instead of Manda.. I would probs reserve Manda only for major issues.[/FONT]

And the summoning part is done ^^ Now onto Snake Ninjutsu. As we begin I gotta ask do you know Fuuinjutsu? there is one Snake Ninjutsu that requires you to know it so I gotta know if I have to teach you it or not xd Snake Nin is pretty easy since its basically using normal size snakes for attacks or defensive purposes.

Use your chakra and summon/manifest a snake to come out of your sleeve. Have the snake extend and attack my clone by having it bite into my clone and bind him so you can attack my clone. This is a great and simply binding jutsu tho its strong variant is probably the jutsu you are gonna wanna use instead. This is the lesser of the Multiple Hidden Snakes but why would use this one over the multiple one?

Summon several snakes from your sleeve to attack my clone and then have the snakes lift my clone into the air. Once my lone is in the air detach the snakes so they will spin around my clone attacking her while in the air multiple times before going away. it to two jutsus

(Kyodaija Kawarimi) Snake Body Replacement

Description: Snake summons have the ability to shed their skin in a manner of body replacement technique which is used for the replacement technique and the snake hides underground. During the battle with gamabunta and katsuyu, Manda used this technique to evade from toad oil flame bomb; the skin was deceiving however it had a transparent opacity, which in between attack wasn't noticeable.
Note: Must have snakes summoning contract.

Summon any snake of your choosing. Once you summon them have the snake shed their skin so that the snake avoids damage from the my jutsu. The snake should shed its skin and then be hidden underground. Then have it emerge out of the ground. For this one I want an acutal RP style move with you actually summoning one of the saneks you learned as I will use a jutsu as soon as you summon as snakes ^^
