I've actually looked around for where I might find Person 4 for the PS2! It's 15 bucks on Amazon, which isn't too bad. But yeah, I really do want to play it. ^^

So... PQ is coming out in exactly a month now in NA (and 3 days later for EU ).
Did anyone have any particular expectations for it, gameplay or plot-wise?

I've never played Etrian Odessey (the ATLUS franchise which the mechanics of PQ are based off of), so I'm expecting a fresh battle system and dungeon crawling, something different than usual.

Plot-wise... well... at least Minato is back in action, so that should make for an interesting dynamic between him and Yu.

I don't know if it's true, but I saw someone saying that Minako(Female protagonist of P3P) makes a cameo appearance in a mini game of PQ. Anyways I'm not sure how the plot is going to make a big difference to the stories of Persona, but I'm really excited to know.

FeMC, huh I suppose that would be a nice cameo.

I really, really wonder how this is going to fit into the canon, if at all. Since none of them know each other in P4A, then there would have to be some kind of memory wipe if it was canon (which is kind of dumb, because if you need to do that, then why make it canon at all?)

I've played Etrian Odyssey. It's not that bad. I'm almost a completionist, so it was a bit painful, I'm glad there is auto-mapping in Persona Q.

I can't wait for the music either. I already have a lot of the soundtracks in my playlist, so guilty.

Yeah, Kikuno was a nice addition. Apparently she was already introduced in some voice-drama that nobody heard of and LOL, Sho has the best puns in Persona history.

My brother and I have been discussing whether we'll get the game. Obviously, I'm pushing towards yes, but my brother disliked the Etrian Odyssey games, while I've played almost all of them, so we're in minor conflict. I might end up buying it myself.

Fun stuff, btw. Atlus/Sega has a great marketing ploy. Pre-ordering Persona Q in Europe grants you 11 tarot cards. Can you guess where you can get the others? By pre-ordering Ultimax. :|

Anyway, Golden develops Adachi more, takes an interesting approach at things and is made with a better quality. It's worth skipping through with a few episodes being pretty good.

Really? That's the battle theme? That's a little disappointing. Don't get me wrong, the song is really great, definitely Persona worthy (especially at 1:20), but the singing starts way too late. Random battles won't do this song justice since they don't tend to last longer than 40 seconds, especially further in-game.

Well, the cards are like square shaped, not like a traditional tarot card style. They look big. But I suppose it isn't too important, all the details/art is perfect.

Ah, good to see. ^^ That sounds nice. I’ve heard many things about P3, almost all of it positive. Not gonna lie, that name itself solos. It rolls off the tongue quite well. xD
