Sasuke is unable to turn his rinnegan on or off because it is the actual appearance of the eye. Once its awakened, no turning back. As to why we've never seen obito, madara, nagato or the sage deactivate it either. Seems logical.

Last isnt considered canon, & kishi had the movie edited due to spoilers, not once in the manga have we seen it deactivated then why is his left eye covered in gaiden? :Sparks:

It is cannon though because of NH and Naruto's kids. Sasuke had the Rinnegan deactivated there so that debunks your theory that he can't turn his Rinnegan off.

Edo Madara was using a fake rinnegan, when he got revived & got his "real" rinnegan back he has not once switched.

Im not mad about a thread dude calm down & stay on topic, we know a fake rinnegan cant use all the abilities of a real rinnegan thats how their different. But like i said provide a scan of anyone deactivating a real rinnegan.
